Oh shit, I just remembered I can't do Sunday at all. Bollocks. Don't suppose you're round during the daytime on Friday? Any other time would mean risking dangerous amounts of exposure to flatmate iplayer I'm afraid.

Can you not do any times after 11PM?

I stayed up and watched it live! Haha. It does look very nice, but mostly just makes me feel guilty that I didn't really bother with Dark Souls.

Most interesting thing all night was the Media Molecule demo of some lovely Move based clay modelling which segued into something that looked a lot like Wii Music. A hell of a lot like it. Wii Music is excellent, though.

Also, I may very well not be "hardcore" because I think all the social stuff sounds superb. Miiverse is the most exciting thing about Wii U and sharing videos (of slow mo supertaunt finishes no doubt) with relative ease on PS4 sounds brilliant. I just wasn't interested in any of the games yet.

11 is the time my flatmate comes home from his dayshift and starts iplayering 9 times out of 10. Also 11 is a time where reactions, concentration and pattern recognition go to die. Who would want to play after 11pm?

This might be tricky then, it seems this weekend is out, and I'm going away the following friday for the whole weekend, which leaves us monday to thursday. Best times for me are when no-one else is at home - which is 9-6 generally. 6-9 is likely there will be light internet use by housemates, probably no streaming. And after 9 there is a very high chance.

I think I want a PS4, and I don't even know what the case that I'll hardly ever look at looks like. Crazy.

The single best thing last night was the fact that one of my good street fighting friends appeared in one of the videos during the conference. Just to clarify - he's not that good at Street fighter, but he is a good friend.

GGs to the man I played last night. I so nearly beat jellum's 'sim with my ryu, but to no avail.

Cheers man, that was fun. Also enjoyed the very rare Guile mirror.

Played Jellum til 2am. I won 5, he won 42.

Is there any way to AA Dudleys elbow drop online cept for EX FK? I can AA it fine offline and training, but got raped by that move. Was so free to jump in combos, or blocked and got pressured. Meh.

Was still a great night.

JLM has probably timed that jump in well enough for it to beat out regular flash kicks, and he'll be option selecting his Ultra or a machinegun blow to catch the backdash as well, so you might just have to block? I'd imagine it'd be a safe jump and so EX Flash Kick would only be an option if you have three bars to allow the FADC if it's blocked.

Dudley's a good character to practice low pokes with buffered specials/supers since many poorer dudley players will attempt fraudulent raw machinegun blow from far away. Also, blocked Machinegun blow can be punished to different degrees depending on the strength. It's worth learning the best normals and timings for that too.

Also, Dudley drinks tea in a china cup with boxing gloves on. Best character.

Yes, ggs. Who was that g360uk man, is he about on here? I got quite annoyed at basically losing to jump in > sweep the whole time, haha. Especially as I'm well aware how thoroughly punishable guile's sweep is when you block the first hit. Recently I can't anti air at all online for some reason. Probably tiredness and wildmashing. I kept getting sweep instead of uppercut, which is far from an optimal anti air it turns out.

Also I have maybe figured out the dhalsim matchup a little bit. You basically can't jump over the fucker at all, because he can then do a backwards teleport to the other side of the screen. It appears to be all about empty jumping over fireballs when you're at a range which is a little too far for him to anti-air you, and then just gradually walking him into the corner.

Unless you're playing a wild ranked dhalsim who just pounds on buttons and nobody really has a clue about what's happening.

Yeah, was starting to identify his different mgbs on reaction. Light mgb can only be punished by light super (which I did. Still lost that match tho), others all punishable by FK, Hard and Ex punishable by Ultras as well.

It wasn't just FK his elbow drop beat; it also beat st.mp, st.mk, cr.hp, st.hp, and on more than one occasion air throw. I didnt seen to have time to GHK either.

On the plus side, I think he's the best Dudley I've fought, and quite a few matches were close.

I think I also teched more throws last night than I have in the last 9 months. :)
