Oh god what have I said

Speaking of Rank Cs though, I'm with you on the whole C to C experience. It's really not helping me improve. Probably stick with it for now though, I'm alternating Dan and Fei so it's about 50/50 fun/excruciating. Stubborn Fighter.

C to C was excellent fun. It made me like DeeJay, and I hated DeeJay. Donut has helped me hate him again just fine though.

I might play Anarchy Reigns instead this evening, since I decided it was the best game I'd played in ages and then didn't bother playing it with immediate effect.

I should really just break it up with some training mode to keep things fun/productive. I have also been trying to land specific things in matches that I'm crap at, which is useful.

You'll maybe find that you'll have a lot more knowledge of what attacks you can punish and the best way to punish them once you're done. I certainly became far more aware of how much Dudley hates a character with a good crouching medium kick.

Using basic, universal defense rather than relying on a character's main reliable option is probably good for learning patience as well. Though I still love buttons.

The SF4 team tournament on the last day of that Kuwait tournament was full of ridiculous excitement. It starts about halfway through this archive:

Look around on that channel for the rest of the tournament footage if you're interested. Marvel was pretty entertaining but not necessarily unmissable, unless you're hungry for footage of the Japanese players and/or Justin Wong's classic team (which of course you are).
