Also you must always pick the costume where he's wearing the horrible wig.

And always start a round with kara knee.

And spend HOURS trying to do kara tiger shot, and repeatedly doing kara knee/uppercut instead. Seriously. How do you do those. I've accidentally done it like once.

I've never done it before, but I think I have it down as of two minutes ago.

Either f.LK then do HCB and a button. I've had better consistency using punches.

The other way I just read and got to work is to do a LK or MK tiger shot. Then, when the shot is just about to hit, do QCF HK, HK. This uses the fact only one fireball can be on screen at once to option select Sagat's f.HK and then kara cancels from that. It is rad.

Play time - 307:01 hours.

Online Win Rate - 31.19% on "Xbox Live vs. Progress"; 42.81% on "Ranked Match" Progress

Most Player Points - 749 PP

Longest Win Streak - 13 wins.

Character stats are useles since I only ever went on ranked with my mains :P and I don't do ranked anymore anyway; lobbies 4eva!

Alistarr, that's wonderful. That's the kind of thing that goes on in late night lobbies with Haggar and I that no-one gets to see, but with the wildness cranked up to 11.

Lads! Who's up for chipping in on this little lot?

Do you kara it with his hk thingy? I thought fwd lk has a larger kara window.

I don't know what I thought that.

It does, that's why f.HK is the alternate way. f.LK also travels further. Apparently kara-cancelling from f.HK into Tiger Uppercut is really good for anti-airing though.

We didn't get in because my idiot friend waited until like 3pm to try and book, so we went to wahaca instead.

Wahaca is nice because is does excellent mexan street food which is lovely and the churros come with a little mug of melted chocolate which you can drink when you've finished your churros. Also the refried beans with sour cream and cheese are to die for. Wahaca is less good because they serve margaritas and mojitos at the bar, which means that you have to wait at the bar for about 45 minutes to get your beer while the bartenders endlessly and forlornly crush mint and limes into glass after glass.

I genuinely feel that there should be a separate queue for people who want to order mojitos at cocktail bars, and this queue should be tended by the work experience.

Imagine the size of the van that would pull into your street to deliver you half a million dollars worth of children's videogaming entertainment assuming that isn't a scam. Imagine trying to explain to a person that you owned 20 boxed PS2s because they were all different colours and special editions.

Ha, I used to work with some people a bit like that. I loaned one of them my brand new AES copy of KoF '97 and he managed to spill some water on the inside of the cover. I don't think I've ever seen someone so worryingly apologetic/suicidal in my life.

I'm kicking myself for not nabbing a 'cheap' PC Engine LT back in the 90s (at £200), something was wrong with it, but it probably could have been repaired. They're worth a silly amount to someone who'd probably never play it anyway now.

I have a weakness for old games things, I have to stay off eBay now. PC Engine hardware particularly is something I've purposely avoided reading too much about in case I buy one, I remember it being mentioned in games magazines I read as a kid and it just sounded crazy and exotic and it might as well have been from space. All I really know is they look pretty and that wee LT does too.

There's some big tournament in Kuwait again! http://www.eventhubs.com/news/2013/feb/07/ko-fighting-game-festival-live-stream-featuring-daigo-mago-tokido-justin-wong-xian-and-more/ I might get to catch a bit of the Saturday stuff.

Yep, when I make it to Japan I'm sure I won't be able to leave without PC Engine hardware of some kind and a bunch of games to not play because I no longer have a TV with RCA / Scary sockets. I did have the American PCE handheld with SF2 CE for a while. It lasted a whole 3 hours or something on 6 AA batteries. Street Fighter with 2 buttons is shit.

We should totally do a tournament with those rules at some point though.

edit - went to edit that Scart typo but thought better of it.

I have a Turbo Express donut! It was lush back in the day, but you may as well play PCE games on a PSP these days. Same with the Nomad I also have. God I have so much pointless tat. I even have a Jaguar.

Friend of mine has an LT. Think he paid about £150 for it many years ago.

*hides his Gen 1 boxed red foot variant Optimus Prime*

Yeah, why would you want those? That'd be silly...

Is that a yaroze?

Its his bigger brother, a debug PS1. Most publishers and developers ended up using chipped PS1s because they were far cheaper. The PSU has long since disappeared but I could chuck a bog standard UK PSU in there if I could be arsed.

I passed up the chance to get one of those for free and a Test PS2

Though my prized piece of tat is one of these

Awesome! I remember using one of those to write ROMs to N64 carts when I were a mere tester.

It is an N64 cartridge writer, the master cart goes in the far left and then can write to any carts in the other slots. Used mainly in dev houses for creating carts for test or for sending to publishers/Nintendo.

You must post your SF tat with pictures when it comes :)
