Ni no Kuni is very, very pretty. I enjoyed my first 90 minutes with it last night but something was niggling me about it and I couldn't place it, I eventually worked out it was the realisation that I've never finished a JRPG and likely never will. I know this and yet I will still be buying Persona 4 for the Vita at the end of the month like a chump.

I still remember the good old days when imp and Choo first came over from PS3 world and no one knew what to expect. Donut too, after hearing tale of his terrifying Boxer. I also remember a timid JLM's first introductory posts and regular sparring vs his Blanka, and when Nate asked if it was ok for his friend cale to join us as he hadn't been allowed posting privellages on the forum yet. *wipes tear from eye*

Ahh yes, from the days when Dogsout would play his terrifying Blanka, and people would talk in hushed tones about "Infexious". I remember the first time I beat Joffo I saved the replay.

I've finished quite a few JRPGs, for some reason. I do enjoy them. I had a save file on Final Fantasy VII where I'd beat the ruby weapon after a total of 25 hours. My fat mate Jim refused to believe it. Turned out the clock was bugged as it was the PC version, but I've not yet told him that.

I'm not sure I like the look of the combat in Ni N o Kuni, as it looks like the Tales of games. Which I've never played really. I should probably get the 3DS version of Abyss. I should have definitely got it when it was on sale for a tenner because it certainly isn't a tenner now.

I'm tempted to see if the ladychum will play through all of Secret of Mana with me.

I also remember the time I beat Asura double perfect and he ragequit.

I have completed a grand total of two JRPGs. Brave Story and Eternal Sonata. Both were excellent, but not as excellent as Persona 4 which is all kinds of amazing, but remains uncompleted. I am suck.

Was that Secret of Evermore, or was there another? I had that, but not Mana, so I've not really finished Mana at all. I loved how unstoppably cheery the music outside some shop in the forest was.

SoE was a separate game, Mana 2 (aka Seiken Densetsu 3) only had a Japanese release. There is a translated ROM 'out there', though.

Ooh. I need to play more of those fan translations. Or only one; Mother 3. I gave up trying to get it going on my GBA micro. My flash card has some horrible star wars themed menu and is really awkward. I just ended up jamming Advance Wars in there as usual.

I think I have a fan translated version of Schoolgirls' Scary Photos 2 on Wii as well, but I never played that either because it wasn't even slightly Street Fighter. Also, I think I am continually on the verge of not playing Street Fighter anymore all of the time, but I always end up playing Street Fighter.

I played TTT2 obsessively for a week and then stopped. I think there's still two grindin' achievements left for me to get. It's good, but I just don't get it really. Bob is fat, though.

I'm trying to get a Pandora combo working in SFxT right now. I thought you could cancel normals into Pandora, no? I can occasionally link things as Sakura after a Rufus Galactic Tornado in the corner, target combo > Pandora. Nothing too fancy though.

When Rufus collapses from Pandora I like to pretend it's heart failure.

EDIT: Ack, I give up on fancy. After doing Rufus Galactic Tornado, target combo, fragrance palm > Pandora you can just go right into Sakura's super pretty easily for about 586 damage. I've not added gems yet. I'm gonna make a mad Pandora set.

GGs to all tonight - lots of new people! Hello Robbo, hello Curtis who I haven't played for ages, hello other people in that lobby who I added as friends, you're probably not in this thread, who cares.

Bit of ranked too, I really need to not do that after more than three beers. It just gets embarrassing. However, the Dictator is ranked up to C, and I played some Cammy because I really don't enjoy her and want to get her out of the way. One win, several losses. Bleh.
