How did you all get on with strekken last night, then?

I'm going to have a go tonight, I think. How big is the patch? Will probably go with a completely different team then my olds ones. Paul is looking lots of fun now!

Patch is only about 4MB. I played 20 or so games with Joffles this morning and it was good fun. Throws being a thing is definitely noticeable, and there were still time outs but less frequently than before. I immediately caved and bought the DLC characters too, like the chump that I am.

I think the last time I played strekken was either at heggfest or when I was drunk one night and Curtis was swearing down a microphone at me. I'm going to presume that I've forgotten all of my combos and it'll basically be back to square 1 again, so might as well pick a few new mans to use.

I had about an hour and a half of horror as a manly man came in to do a gas safety check. I then planned on starting Xenoblade properly, but I've just put SFxT back on instead.

JLM forgot to mention that he utterly bulldozed me about 15 matches in a row earlier.

Pretty sure the last time I played there was a drunken Curtis too. I've played it on Vita since though and I don't *think* he was around.

I might be around for some games tonight but I am now playing a hot new game lots of people are looking forward to that I'd love to talk about but can't, because I'm not a prick like Spainkiller. Not quite, anyway - I'm enough of a prick to mention it without mentioning it by name.

The worst thing about Strekken is that it isn't AE.

Maybe if I was allowed a Guile and Charlie team I'd like it more. And they added focus attacks. And got rid of quick combos.

GGs to nuskool this evening. My highlight was focus-taunting through a fireball, although the next one hit me in the face and kind of spoilt the moment. Also a connection error just as I'd landed Dudley's Ultra for the win made me look like an arse.

GGs mate. I honestly thought you'd got a bit excited landing that ultra and kicked over your xbox or something!

Haha. My random Bipson teleports in the early games were a result of using the wrong set of buttons for Ultra and thinking my execution had totally evaporated.

Also have you changed anything with your internet since we tried to play? I can connect fine to Joffo now, which I never could before. I dunno if it's that I've got moderate NAT or something, even though I think my xbox is in the DMZ and hogs ALL the bandwidth the whole time.

Oh for God's sake. There's a load of hidden buffs/nerfs in the game. Things like gief's lariat has had a damage nerf.

What is the point in releasing massive changelogs and then not documenting everything?
