I miss Dan. Megaman is essentially Dan and I can't have him. I've not bothered to learn any of the Tekken characters either, other than messing around with Paul and Bob.

Are there any other changes? Like with the menus and stuff? They've allocated a half-decent gem set to all characters now as well, haven't they? Rather than the awful two default ones. GEMS!

lol, I bought the PS3 version (9.99 at Zavvi for all you bargain hunters) for exactly the same thing. That and I quite like the look of Cole despite home being canny bland.

What's the craic with Strekken then? I got the impression it was dead in the water. Do we think this patch may resurrect it?

It makes financial sense to get the Vita version of Stekken right? That way you can unlock the DLC characters for "free" on the PS3. (I don't play on the PS3 ever)

Yep if you have a vita and want some on the move action, it does connect and I think you get cross play too.

I think there is a menu in the game, I haven't done it yet though

I think the best way to get DLC is to buy it all immediately at full price and never use it. That's what I always do.

SF/TK Alternate Costume Complete Pack (38 costumes) access for PS3: you will be entitled to download this complete costume pack for the PS3 by visiting the PSN Store and selecting the “SF/TK Alternate Costume Complete Pack”. This will be marked as “Free” for you based on the entitlement, and you can download the content.

That is if you have entered the download code you get with the Vita game first and use the same account.

I think the SFxT version of Sakura is great fun; she has a Gouken-like jumping medium punch cancel into her tatsu and if you do that air-to-air she lands quick enough to folow up with more jugglin'. Her tatsu loops are also easier.

I got down-the-mic rage a lot more frequently in SFxT than I do in SF4. Rufus is rage-inducing, to be fair. I get all shakey-handed and nervous when people are raging at me, but I also want to troll them further. It is difficult. I sometimes turn my mic on and call them sweetheart in a soothing voice, but I'm usually too timid.

Guy can now jump-cancel his target combo and go into his spinny air grab thing, which also combos off a midair jumping mp. I kind of want to download guy purely for that.

How does the AI fare in that wild AError1 hack? Do they still base their actions on the old move data and do wildly inappropriate things?

It varies. Sometimes you swear they've been retooled - Dan certainly seems to have been - sometimes they seem to be doing insane old things.

Saw some more lovely stuff in my brief go last night. There's no flash when Fei activates Ultra 2. Blanka can jump while doing electricity (the AI has no idea what to do with that one) and his Ultra 1 is now just a horizontal ball (bit grumpy about that, that's one of my two Blanka mixups).
