I think I'm about to explode. Trying to do Deejay's Trial 17. cr.lp>cr.lp>cr.mp>double rolling sabat

So frustrating trying to work out the timing so that the mp connects. Either it gets blocked or it doesn't come out at all. Gah!

If someone could explain the rhythm of the button presses, akin to Vinnie Jones explaining CPR techniques to the tune of Stayin' Alive that would be lovely. Thanks.

Edit: just done it, the Shake n' Vac jingle works for that one.

I tried it today and it did an update. Had one game online against a Flowchart Ryu Ken team :)

SFIV day one: Ryu and Ken players everywhere. SFxT day one: Ryu and Ken teams everywhere ;)

I still have the Strekken disc so I'm obliged to play it once the patch lands...

Aargh! Right so, how would I put pee-linking into use in DJ's trial 17 above?

I'm ashamed to say I don't fully understand what the guy is showing in that vid.

Well, that was quite a marathon, there's some pent-up stress of the work week relieved. GGs all (and sorry to miss you geldra, let's fight sometime!). Jiro, I think you might need to use some stronger cardboard on that connection of yours, maybe some sellotape.

Joffo, that was a thorough tonking, but your dedication to doing as much flashy stuff as possible means it's always entertaining. Except for the constant reminder that I can neither deal with nor use focus attacks. Or dashes in any kind of strategic way. This is why I want to try C To Shining C: I've realised I'm never going to put in the time or the training to get really good at Street Fighter, I want to just enjoy fighting with a load of mans and satisfying my completionist streak. That said, I am getting better with my Rose links recently, I've landed a few FADCs, and I'm making an effort to stop mashing cr.lp > throw close up, with every character, all the time, on hit or block. Also I ticked Cody on my C to shining C picture when he's not quite there, fraud. [/blog Fighter]

Also if you get knocked down make sure you are holding down back so that you can wake up with a charge move like Spinning Bird Kick, Flash Kick, etc

Who are you playing out of interrest?

I'm playing around with Blanka at the moment, but will try a few charge types to see if anything fits. I must admit I do prefer my quarter-turn characters at the moment, but we'll see how I go.

Was nice to lobby up with folk earlier - shame my internet was misbehaving. :-( I might have it sorted now but I'm not getting my hopes up. I thought I'd sorted it earlier and was all excited to get in a lobby with Joffo and Joeplus only to find out it was worse than before.

Blanka might not be the best starting point for charge characters. His game is more like 30% charge and 70% TOTAL BULLSHIT :hmm:

I'd say play around with Balrog and Guile.

Was nice to lobby up with folk earlier - shame my internet was misbehaving. :-( I might have it sorted now but I'm not getting my hopes up. I thought I'd sorted it earlier and was all excited to get in a lobby with Joffo and Joeplus only to find out it was worse than before.

I got excited when you invited me again, but yeah, it was red/yellow bars the second time rather than yellow/green. :(

I'd say GGs, but I don't think either of us enjoyed those laggy travesties.

GGs Joffo, that was a fun 50-60 or so games. I had to leave eventually because Leeds is covered in snow and there were smowball fights to be had and snowmen to be built. Some people one street over from ours built an uitterly terrifying snow totem pole with faces in it that make you question every decision you've ever made in life and I felt obliged to help them finish it, Photobucket is currently refusing to let me sign in to upload photos of it, like it knows it's for the best that nobody sees them.
