"Back to Blanka" is magnificent. Well done Plopzilla.

I don't suppose you might at some time have a free moment to mock up a picture of David Carradine combined with Carrot Cake to create David Carratcake? An unusual request I know. It's not a sex thing though. Don't know why you'd even bring that up.

I have unshamed my B for Dan by getting back up to a respectable 5050BP. I accidentally picked him again in ranked after getting over 5000 and ended up against a T Hawk and cried. I won it tough, by pure luck. Dan does not work against T Hawk.

Got over 2500PP in the process too, but just lost 54 of those against a 14k Vega as T Hawk. Stupid Vega. I also managed to beat a couple of A rank Chun Li's, so there is hope for me in that matchup yet; though I think a lot of Chun Li players, even A rank, are so used to their typical zoning and basic mix up game spiced with EX Bird Kick that they kinda crumble a bit if you break through it. I guess you can have a lot of success with Chun Li just going through the motions without any real thought, like with Blanka, so I don't think those wins have helped me learn anything of any real value when it comes to tackling JLM.

Man, it's super dynamic 'shopping time up in this thread. Amazing work.

Went about 1 win in 10 with Gief this evening before my router started crying. A few of those would have been wins if I didn't keep missing SPDs. Need to get my butter-churning sorted out.

Ouch! That'd be a gonadectomy or something. Glad to hear it's your day job and not a list of procedures you underwent - feel dumb not to have put 2 and 2 together...

Also, you talented muthafucka. How do you find time to be TheShend AND work a day job?

Correct! Properly known as an Orchidectomy.

Orochidectomy.

I do lack time though, I have another 1000+ videos at least to try work through still :(

are you a doctorin' doctor, the shend? Imagine having the shend's supple well trained fingers sweetly operating on your vital organs.

Nah, just a technician and you don't want me near any of your bits!

Haggar, Donut - cheers for the games last night. Going Back to Blanka was emotional for me. About 90% embarassment and 10% guilt. The first couple of matches where I was using cr.LK and st.HK were fun, like accidental lab work, but really I just fannying around because I was too scared to try and fail. Which reminds me...

Thought for the day: You know, in a lot of ways Life is like Street Fighter. We all face challenges in our lives and sometimes the greatest battle we face is the struggle against doubt. When that happens, you've just got to go for that reversal. Wake-up dragon punch those doubts right in the face. And as long as you're ready to FADC you've got nothing to lose. Unless maybe you've got no decent reversal options or you've been safe jumped... Hmm I haven't really thought this through.

Are you going to this, Jiro or Yasawas (or any lurking scottish types)?

http://www.glasgowfi...ideo_game_empty

The now svelte Fat Rab fae consolevania is doing games related stuff at the Glasgow Film Festival in February. One of the other nights is a showing of Aliens (which I've not seen. It's also "in 70mm", if that means something to you tykes) alongside a live review of Aliens: Colonial Marines. But this Video Game Empty sounds like it might be a bit of a laugh? I'm hoping miserable old radlord will join me as I don't think the ladychum will be too keen, haha. He even mentions Street Fighter in the blurb, so it's on topic!

My mate Greig's job last year was driving Rab and Ian around during the filming of Burnistoun. I was pretty jealous.

I also have booked my tickets to this thing. And yes, there can indeed be Street Fighter before it, I'm sure. Depending on what time we all get into town we could play some Hidden In Plain Sight and Micro Machines in my dreadful flat as those are surely the games of kings. Plus radlord could win at those often enough to not go in a huff, like he definitely would if it were Street Fighter.
