Haggle 5 - 1 Qazimod

And I'm out. That cr.jab, jab jab, spiral arrow knockdown followed by cannon spike on wakeup or whatever it was... I had no idea what to do against it, except try and stop it with low Fuhajins. Well done sir.

I'm knocked out of losers now but I will still be about for capture duties here and there.

Only just tuned in to see I'm Still Da Daddy down at 4-1 or something, then some wild disconnect happened and he's offline now. I reckon he's on his way over to overmostheads' place with his crew.

Given his reputation can we really believe that his connection 'failed'? Bad show to be live on air and then disappear like that, any cred he got for that tournament placing has gone right out of the window.

I think it was the guy streaming who got the disconnect, but yeah - I guess he took that as a cue to fuck off and get all angry.

Haggar is hosting a Super lobby! Useless Makoto time!

Excellent title too - I only use Yang. He can't pick Yang. Beautiful.

God that was fun. We should all play more super! Rose had her fireball/super trap and ultra 2 was amazing! Seth had jump back fierce! Makoto had no combos and ultra 2 was shit! Bipson has an ultra 2 whose motion I couldn't remember! There were no twins! T hawk was worse! Cammy had tkcs! Honda had a 0 frame command grab ultra!

Sorry I didn't respond sooner to your replay request tonight Mr Haggar sir but I was trying out a different character on ranked and i was making a right meal trying not to lose to an Aluma player.

In other news Dragons Dogma is also another awesome Capcom game that I had a dabble with tonight and it looks like Nate was playing it too.

And and you are all mean to that nice young man Dadaddy.

And and and I bought a copy of SCV thinking it was IV today, what a melon.

I paid two dollars and ninety-nine cents for the AE Holiday Special last night and did not regret my purchase. Gootecks' "prom" analogy was worth the price of admission alone. Well, that and all the fighting.

My new year's resolution is to post in this lovely thread more often and also to not try and contribute to discussions that are at least three days out of date.

After all the technical problems they were having, I finally managed to download this 5 days ago. Then found it was in mov format which won't stream to either of my consoles. So a couple of days ago, I converted it to MP4 with handbrake. Finally got round to watching half of it last night but then had to scuttle off to bed as I had an early start this morning. Hopefully will get to watch the other half this side of Easter.

Back on topic, I'm watching Robocop, The Raid and Dredd in a cinema tonight. Oh yes.

What does the message say?

I beat a T Hawk as Santa-gief yesterday and he sent me an "I fucked up" message; he joined my lobby again, so I figured he was gonna run it back, but he picked Seth! Is that still the game's ultimate counter-pick?

I beat a Makoto as well, though he random selected, and he sent me a semi-rage message of "I bet you love gief now that he can grab people from half a screen away". So I sent him a message back telling him I loved all fabulous men. Then he cheered up with "Haha, yeah! Gief loves to cuddle!". Excellent.

I love Robocop, enjoyed wincing at The Raid and haven't seen Dredd, so I am varying degrees of jealous. What was the name of that old school hip hop documentary you said was on netflix? I've run out of pinball and board game documentaries.

Also, how will we pick teams in the team tournament?

Woah, where? Is Robocop the directors cut with that whole 2.5 seconds of extra gratuitous violence?

I'm pretty sure I love Robocop more than Joffo.

Robocop is wonderful. "Can you fly Bobby?" is a good thing to say if you Skyjack someone's banshee in Halo.

Robocop 2 is just about watchable but is so vastly inferior to the first one that it isn't worth your time. Robocop 3 isn't worth anybody's time.

We were pretty hype about Robocop 2 at school; and then we actually watched it. The distinct lack of Verhoeven showed.

I was going to link to the Mr Dreams edit of Robocop, but Metro Goldwyn Mayer have thrown a hissy fit and its no longer on youtube, the fun hating bastards. It's all kinds of amazing.

I haven't seen either The Raid or Dredd, so am looking forward to both. I haven't seen Robocop since the 80s. I hope my memories aren't ruined.

Style Wars was probably the documentary I was waffling on about. But also watch Something From Nothing: The Art of Rap, which is a thoroughly modern but totally brilliant documentary, put together and presented by Ice T.

Prince Charles, Leicester Square. No idea if it is the director's cut.
