I just played a high ranked Rose player called Aldo Calrissian who quit in the first round of the first game, and then immediately after that I faced a high (well, higher than me) ranked Ryu player called FaceBreaker 360 who quit just before the last hit of the first game.

This is an endless battle lobby, not even a ranked matches.

EDIT: and then a low ranked Ryu called tacD who quit after a dizzy! Three in a row! Unbelievable.

Lads,since my Xbox is in the dmz does that mean that it'll kill the rest of my internet when its downloading. Whenever I get something Orff the marketplace the connection for all my other devices totally falls over for most of the duration. It's quite annoying.

It shouldn't, do you have QoS (Quailty of Service) or some other similar settings that makes the xbox hog the internet connection?

Fear not, I have finished the Halo 4 Campaign on co-op with my Halo buddy and will only be playing it online when he's about too. I do love Halo though, and Halo 3 is the only game that competes with SFIV in terms of time spent playing online for me. Reach didn't quite grab me like 1 through ODST, but I am loving 4 so far. The only issue is that I only tend to play Halo obsessively and really enjoy it when I have at least one person playing it with me in real life. I'm actually significantly worse at it on single player because I've spent almost all of my time with all five main games playing in split screen. So, as my Halo co-op friend is returning home tomorrow, I will be back on the fightings until he or one of my second tier Halo buddies comes to visit again.

Halo.

I probably shouldn't have stopped frame trapping after about the third match, but autopilot kicked in as it is wont to do. also bigger damage combos would probably have won me more rounds. also good grief, cr.hp is a hell of a button. does it even have a hitbox?

A wild thing happened last night in ranked against an Evil Ryu.

I tried to drop a Sonic Hurricane on his head after a knockdown but he countered with his Ultra 2 which connected for some heavy damage.

But! it also built my meter back up so I was able to wake up Ultra for the win

Next round he countered this with lag switch x player has disconnected

I encountered a 2000+PP Sagat on ranked last night, and he was absolutely the wildest Sagat I have ever fought. Literally nothing but never-FADC'd uppercuts, hugely unsafe point blank knees and mashed ultras. It really really confused me, because 2000PP+ usually shows you have some idea what you're doing.

I haven't played it since before Christmas, actually, since that magical night when both Capra Demon and Gaping Dragon fell. The longer I leave it the harder it is to go back. I thought about it last night but wussed out and played two hours of Sonic Kart instead.

Also imp please tell me about your PC. How much did you spend? I wants one.

You're right, it will be harder, but it doesn't take long to get back in the swing.

I was convinced by Choo to go for the "Soda Popinski" from the PC building thread. (£725, excluding OS, monitor, network card, keyboard, mouse, speakers, modesty, etc), except I upgraded my graphics card a notch to the GTX 660 TI, which means I can run Borderlands 2 on Ultra settings with PhysX on high, which means all my goals in life will be fulfilled.

It's exciting and terrifying. The agony of the past week, watching the parts coming in dribs and drabs, has been exquisite. Luckily I have a very tech-savvy flatmate on hand to help out.

Today I bought the jpn version of ssf4. The reasons were 3 fold

It was great condition

It was the collectors version (with CDs and art book)

It was £8

I've also bought phantom breaker and persona 4. The main reason I bought persona 4 is because imp wanted it.

Also, joffo, lyrical, I met 35 today on 3DS street pass. That's more than I've met in the UK since I got my 3DS
