I am preparing for the worst bit of my annual trip home for Christmas; visiting the Aunt and Uncle I really really dislike. I have made sure to give them cards that have lots of glitter on them, because everyone hates glitter.

Imagine the excess glitter that flecked off in the envelope spilling out onto their freshly hoovered carpet and dull grey slippers.

I just found out that someone already has a beer called Ayebrau, so that's my late last night idea for a business knocked on the head.

Paper

Paper

Rock

Here we go:

1.Rock

2.Rock

3.Scissors

3-0 Haggar. Amazing that you both went for the opening double fakeout mindgame there. Also profuse apologies because I had this awesome blow-by-blow post with loads of Pokémon references but I accidentally closed the tab before posting. This will have to do.

I have updated the bracket. Haggar v Imp in Winner's quarters; Camel v Alistarr in Loser's.

After 10 when Camel jr is in bed. Is that ok?

Oh yeah, either tonight or tomorrow will be fine.

...So long as I don't get stuck playing The Walking Dead forever. Curse you Imp (and possibly Haggar too, unless my memory has betrayed me)! Girlfriend is already addicted.

Ja, there needs to be more vids uploaded to the tournament channel soon. I'm itching to see some footage of the battles that've been happening, so long as they're not mine. Can't wait for the rock, paper, scissors vids either.

I got Saints Row 3 on Steam the other day. No intention of playing it.

Camel 3 - 5 Alistarr

Some crazy stuff happened in these games - I'm a bit of a wreck now! My footsie Rufus really struggled to out-footsie Camel's Dhalsim (obviously) and the games I won were mostly the ones in which I just went dumb. Some very nice setups from Camel and a lot of tense moments as we went back-and-forth knowing that either of us could die in the next exchange. My own proudest moment was actually landing Rufus' bread-and-butter combo in one of the games. A pleasure to get some games with you too - we rarely play outside of a certain building in London :-)

In the post-match casuals Camel hit me with Honda's Ultra 2 twice three times, which hopefully eased the pain of defeat.
