Well the first night back home and I decide to play some scrub fighter in ranked and I end up having a close but large losing streak all very arrrgh and then I meet a 3000PP 13000+BP Guy player and I end up becoming that guy. You know the type of scrub that ruins your newly acquired 3000PP with his scrubby play and annoying character, yeah I became that guy. Which is slightly odd since he perfected me in this first round and then fell for some very dodgy Elf play. I felt sort of guilty being that guy though

Sorry for bailing earlier JLM, I literally had to go and have a lie down. Santa got me a cold for Christmas :(

I love Guile. I love how his presence on screen seemingly tames JLM. I love how I can happily sit at sweep range and he'll just sit there until I throw him, because he knows full well that if he tries anything else I'll do my level best to flash kick the shit out of it.

I got to test out my new stick last night the only way that is good and proper; by getting thoroughly beasted by JLM. It feels pretty good so far, though the guide button being at the top right is taking some getting used to. The stick feels slightly stiffer (matron!) than my old one, but other than a few failed standing SPDs (which I'm not always 100% with anyway) I've not noticed any negative effect. Buttons are lovely and the whole thing has some incredibly garish SFxTekken art on, which I hope to remove, and will frequently talk about removing and replacing, but never will.

The "warranty void if removed" sticker that's usually across the gap between the base plate and the stick's casing is just on the case itself; I don't know if that's deliberate or not, because they expect everyone to obsessively open it? Ha.

Paper Mario: Sticker Star is just magnificent.

That was beautiful. After the first round I wondered why you would upload a video of your Elf getting bodied, but I loved how you regained control in the second, and that finish was just the best. :)

Thanks Qazi, though I think there was less control and more mad running about, lots of jabs and some high risk moves :) Especially the last move in the final round which if blocked is about as safe as a very unsafe thing. I think he just banked on a splash or slide which would have beaten me as he was charging up a focus attack but I chanced my arm a tad :)

Oh my; random select endless with JLM last night (where I got utterly hammered around 20 wins to 4) and JLM Dan'd me with a gadouken xx Super Taunt xxx Ultra 1 KO. It was a beautiful thing. And then I managed to random select Dan him back with a Gadouken xx slow-mo supertaunt KO, and got a message from him that said "touché". It was the best message.

Lads! I have updated the bracket because I am back home now and had a spare ten minutes while a man attempts, seemingly without success, to fix my dishwasher. I'd make a wife joke here but actually it's me that's been doing the dishes while the dishwasher's been out of action.

I had a dream about JLM's Dudley last night. I have never played his Dudley, and have in fact only played Jellum about three times total in the distant past. This did not stop a life-size Dudders appearing in a dream I had, I can't remember the context but I think it was some kind of fracas outside a pub, and busting out all sorts of target combos I'd never seen before. I remember being impressed and a voice behind me saying "that's JLM!".

I'm going to try and spend less time on the internet in 2013.

If I target combo you in your dreams you get target combo'd in real life. DON'T FALL ASLEEP.

Also, the winner of Caggar has to fight Imp for the right to fight Sith. Bracket of death.

Additional also: I am saddened that no one has joined in the lively discussion of the tournament on Challonge. I thought I raised some good points.
