Merry Christmas Fightmans!

Gief lobby with the red alt 3? ;)

imp and myself were doing reds and greens in our obscenely late lobby last night. And a yellow Seth, which I could have sworn looked gold at the character select screen.

Capcom missed a trick here, all the characters should be donning cat collars so they sound all Christmassy when they move around and stuff.

I did red Santa Gief in lobbies yesterday too. It was only a small departure from my usual pink Santa Gief, but a significant and festive one.

DOA5 got real Christmas alts. Look at Bass here:

Since it is Christmas ill give away my only price if Sonic Brum Brum TT science. What I do is I save a boost until I nearly reach the finish line and boost over it, which gives you a really fast start to your lap and you still have a boost for later in the lap.

Having said that you probably already have worked that out.

Yeah I think we all do that Plopmond, which makes it frustrating when you mess up early on in the lap after using your other boost and have to do a dud lap before you can make another attempt.

I have registered 0:31.406, which is a significant improvement on my last effort but still only good enough for second place behind Donut Dastardly. I only put it on to get the Christmas bonus thingy and ended up sucked into time trials again.

I've just bought the ultra pack on steam. Does anyone still play this on PC?

Two other people have posted in the last couple of days saying they just bought the PC version. Post up your gamertag and I'll add you too - I'll happily switch over to PC in the name of playing with people I know :-). I think Choo can be found, too.

Also, I get a level 1 boost before the chicane, boost across the grass and drift right, then quickly left and countersteer if necessary to line yourself up for the ramp. Continue to hold the drift, double trick as you jump from said ramp, then single trick again when you land. Continue holding drift and line yourself up for the boost strip - you should have a level 2 boost by the time you hit the strip, let it rip. Level 1 boost at the left hander then use your boost at the long straight. I use the last series of corners to build up a level 3 boost, which you should have as you exit the last corner.

Did that all come out OK? I'm pretty fucking wankered right now.

I'm slightly more wankered now, I might be tempted to do a lobby a bit later on. I'm probably just going to be just doing everything all of the time.
