I'm scared of JLM because he's been talking a good game recently, and playing a good game even more recently than that. The swine. I'd better quickly learn some unfair unblockables.

What is going to happen with Camel and Haggar? A running race?

I wonder if SFxT will be in the Steam sale. I dunno if I'll bother getting it though. I'd probably buy SSFIV: AE again if it goes on the flash sale at a ludicrous price so I can gift it to people. Give the gift of Street Fighter to people who couldn't care less this Christmas.

I like buying things in the Steam sale. I don't have a PC, so I just imagine how delighted I'll be at all the games I have as soon as I set it up, five years in the future.

I don't think mind games are going to help me avoid getting sat on repeatedly for five games! :)

When is good for you to play, anyway? I should probably avoid Christmas day but other than that I'm pretty available.

Oh and here's a possible Camel / Haggar solution thing. How about we get hardest setting CPU characters duke it out? Camel and Haggar give someone their counterpicks should they 'lose' to a certain character. That way they sort of play and we get hype matches.

Or something.

CPU Cammy is beyond god-tier, especially on higher difficulties. I think she might actually be better than Seth.

Merry Gs this afternoon all. Sorry for probably distracting JLM/Joffo during what I now realise was their tourney match by sending invites. I have a sick new Adon combo, glad I managed to bust it out a few times against Donut. Looking forward to many lobbies over the next week.

I just had my thorough beasting from Jellum, ending 5-2 to him in style. I started off ok, Danning my way to narrow victory against his Akuma and Dudley, but then he switched to Chun Li and I could barely manage to take a round no matter which character I switched to. Did not help that he was so aware of my back focus/backdash habits either. Focus against Chun is pretty suicidal most of the time. He did an utterly lovely FADC combo into more ferocious Chunning at one point. What an excellent man he is.

We continued playing afterward, switching between various mans, and the score ended 11-11 overall. I'll take some consolation in that. Even if my victories all relied on For This Match Only gimmicks. I seriously got away with so many raw EX uppercuts just because I knew JLM was too nice a man to expect it, haha.

Yes, lobbies during the pre/post Christmas down time.

GGs Haggmond, my Cody is rusty but I felt I was getting better as it went on. Also I got a towards + MP counter hit ultra! I did some training mode yesterday with counter hit on random to try and teach myself to look out for it more consistently. I think it'll help if I bother to do it a few more times.

Sorry for dashing out of the lobby and stealing Joffo, but I saw an opportunity to get our tournament games in.

Joffo got off to a 2-0 lead, battering my Akuma and edging out Dudders. You know me too well Joffles; throwing EX uppercuts at all the times you know I won't expect them. Lots of good Dan pressure and generally being a nuisance to fight against. I got scared and switched to Chun after that and was able to bring it back. For the sake of the viewers and Joffmond I tried to do some fun Chun stuff and hit a nice new combo I've been working on in the last game. Also Joffo switched between a couple of characters, so hopefully they'll be good to watch. Casuals afterwards were fun as well. Trying-to-do-cool-stuff-fighter, yes. I didn't charge my headset before coming home for Christmas, so apologies for the radio silence. I heard some appreciative whistles coming through the TV speakers though. I like those.

Can someone explain this frame data lark to me?

This Adon combo I've been practicing is

j.MK cr.LK cl.s.MK cr.LK x LK.RJ

cr.LK is 4 frames to start up, 2 active frames and +5 on hit.

cl.s.MK is 5 frames to start, 6 active frames and +5 on hit.

Does that mean:

cr.LK into cl.s.MK is a 1 frame link?

And cl.s.MK into cr.LK is a 2 frame link?

Frame data is confusing.
