I've been trying to re-learn FADC ultra because I didn't manage it once when we played the other night, thanks to a certain someone encouraging me to play nothing but Dark Souls for the last month. Got to admit, it's not going spectacularly well thus far.

I'm here all afternoon anyway, no hurry.

As excruciatingly tense as it was at Heggfest. Imp had the edge in the footsies but a lot of rounds came down to whose mixups were strongest. I dropped the last game by missing my ultra input but I think I stole a game earlier in the set through shenanigans that shouldn't have worked, so I guess it evens out. Marginally better than I did in this match at Heggfest (where a quick check of the footage reveals it was 3-1). Imp's Adon is good. Alistarr's Rufus needs to do some exercise. Good games!

I'm going to record the replays now but if anyone fancies games later this afternoon then let me know.

GGs Alistarr, like I was saying before I got disconnected from live, very tense matches. I hate approaching, and you really figured out my shenanigans early, so I kept on getting shut out by your footsies or EX messiahs every time I would try and sustain pressure longer than I've any right to. Good stuff though, looking forward to playing more soon! Also I messed up every time I tried an option select today. Oh well!

Joffles, when are you good for our matches? This weekend work for you, good sir? I'll be in full on packing-all-my-possessions-and-moving-house mode after then, I fear.

Let me know when you're on; there's a hefty amount of uploading photos to be done at the moment but in a few hours or so, maybe?

I have updated the bracket. Also I tried uploading my set against Sith but my laptop locked up. Have set it running again but I'm out for the evening so if you could all please cancel your plans for the night and just sit there crossing your fingers until I get home later that'd be great.

Also I had the most marvellous session on this last night, which I will share details of tomorrow with accompanying video.

"Dull" is often a good strategy against certain players - andygt was really patient and proved that I go in way too hard after he blocked my 4983rd dive-kick and threw me again. It's a bit of a tricky match for Elf too since he kind of has to go in whereas Juri can sit back and throw Fuhajins. Even so, you had some amazing corner pressure and secured some nice Ultra opportunities, and the reach of Chun's low sweep always got me. :D

Thank you sir; they were good games indeed! You were smashin' ma glass. Loved the bait of my obvious EX Messiah kick with Gouken's counter in the later matches too! I saved the replays also, so I can host them for whoever later, since you'll be busy moving and the like!

I failed a Supertaunt finish, which made me sad.

Excellent work on all the fightings and uploading everyone. I am excited to round up the stuff I haven't seen yet.

Plops/Quazzles, it may be worth taking the individual AndyGT vs Qazimod matches off the channel now that there's a video with all of them on there. There are going to be quite a lot of videos on the channel by the time this is all done, so duplicates might just clutter it up a bit.

I just watched Nighty Night for the first time. Nate is pretty good as Angus Deayton in it.

In other vague lookalike news, I saw Donut's dad at the baggage claim in Glasgow Airport yesterday. He was about a foot shorter than Donut, but he did seem to have three pieces of carry-on luggage with him, so would likely make repeated use of overheads.

So my cousin had a bit of a foolish moment a little while ago that people refuse to let him live down and bring it up any time there's a family gathering. He was at a restaurant that had self service ice cream and a chocolate fountain, and whilst enjoying this he came up with a brilliant idea. He was enjoying the fact that the chocolate from the fountain was setting and solidifying around the ice cream, so he said "it'd be great if you could buy this, ice cream with a set chocolate coating on it." He then started getting really enthusiastic about the idea, and the people he was with let him run with it for a bit, before brutally reminding him that he'd just invented the choc ice.

This happened months ago, but it was brought up again tonight when we went out for dinner. We all gave him loads of abuse for it as usual, then eventually it died down and he concluded by saying "I was honestly gutted, I had a complete mental block and thought I'd come up with my one, big, brilliant idea that would make me a fortune."

Then there was a brief silence.

Then I says: "Your Magnum opus?"

I would like to thank the universe for the set up and opportunity I was given this evening, and would like it to be known that I am truly grateful for it.

Oh yes, I'd been meaning to do this - I don't exactly want a match-by-match breakdown of how I got bodied either - but I didn't know if YouTube would get salty if I combined clips with the editor and then removed the clips that make up the combined clip. Spent the other day messing around on my own channel to see what would happen and it seems safe, so I'll try and do that today. :)

Ehr nehr, it seems the video is kind of fucked. I kind of like it though. It's like the version of events you get after a heavy night out.

"Oh yes, and then he... err, well anyway, I lost half my life bar and took a bit of his down too..."

Ah nuts, I noticed similar problems with the other thing I was trying to upload last night. Will try again later on. Can't wait to watch myself getting 5-0d again!
