Right, Camel, when are we ever going to play our round? If you're free at 1am I'll be coming back from my work christmas do and will be blind drunk.

Otherwise between now and New Year the number of days I'll be near an xbox with an internet connection are rapidly diminishing, due to being busy the entirety of the next 2 weekends (except maybe sunday evening) and having quite a lot on next week, due to christmas.

Excellent, excellent games earlier Imp. Some seriously high quality Streetfighter and layers of yomi goodness going on. Then I lost to Donut via a bad game of focus chicken. Sunrise, sunset.

Oh God, but we've got one of the hypest closing matches so far I reckon. :D I'll be joining you for friendly games once I get knocked out of the next round.

Again, the score is very misleading; Plop had me scared throughout and I thought I would throw it away pretty early on, but they were amazing games. :wub:

Indeed! I've played about 35 games since then, so I've forgotten much of the detail unfortunately, but they were very very enjoyable. I has a real lightbulb moment during our set; Adon doesn't have the best anti-airs since he has no way of forcing the opponent to jump from distance, and threatening with his extensive range of horizontal pokes means that his HK Lising Jaggre is more than enough for the job as they won't jump until they're close anyway. Ah ha!

I only wish I had a poke to counter Akuma's far standing HK from mid-range, that shit is godlike when I'm trying to get in on the ground. I was impressed with the general set ups and combos, but like you say, the best part was really just the footsies and yomi.

I wish I'd saved some of them!

Like Alistarr I have done a fantasy bracket for the tournament. It was pretty tough to decide, but I think I've got a good bead on how things will turn out (I think I'm going to have a pretty tough time actually, if things go how I expect). There will be some major hype matches in the losers bracket I think.

Also there are 30 matches in total I believe. 30 matches with 5 games per match! That is at least 300 rounds of Street Fighter to get through.

Not an entirely convincing win - all the sweet stuff I'd been busting out in training didn't quite work out as I'd anticipated, and the pair of us being very aggressive meant that it was difficult to get in the opponent's head because you were too busy having your own caved in.

Geegs Joe - hit me up for the salty runback any time.

How do we get these uploaded then?

First and foremost: sorry about the Roseball warm-up, strawdonkey. I kept doing absorb out of habits.

Amazingly fun match, and I feel like I spoiled it a bit with my counterpick of Chun. If we get the videos sent somehow there are some classic moments, including the single worst dizzy punish of all time :D. GGs strawdonkey, the better man won. Nate, I'll see you in losers bracket.

That was pretty hype.

I felt like your Rose was by far your better character, but I had more trouble with Chun as I'm less familiar with the matchup. Also despite knowing that you have to block the second hit of j.HP standing, I still got hit by it several times :(

I've saved all the videos so next time Qazzlemod or Ploppers are online we can have a good old watch/record session.

No worries about the Roseball. I think I made up for it by doing dash forward -> throw when you were doing a match-opening taunt :)

I haven't had to do this much for others so I could be wrong, but I think we (or you and plop) have to be online at the same time, then you can save the replays to your list, invite us to your channel, and play them from there. I think I'm out this evening though :( Meanwhile plop's got my set with him recorded (according to a few pages back) so we're getting lots of content :)

I just didn't have enough to break Qazi, that and my game has less sides to it than a piece of paper. I know I hadn't practised enough against Juri, as I was trying to df.lk to stop her dive kicks but kept failing. I think the fourth game was a real pivotal one as I might have had some momentum to get back into the set if I hadn't lost it. But really I have no scrubby excuses and Qazi was just more inventive and deservedly won :)

Is it a new youtube account? You have to validate your account or something like that before you can upload videos that are more than 10 minutes long.

Sort of we only have a 15 minutes per video upload and since I managed to turtle for more than that I'll need to upload them individually and see if I can link them with the youtube tool.
