On a slightly separate note... Fuck it, I'm gonna go to Evo next year. If i'm going to go I *have* to enter just so I can say I did it... therefore I need to practice to make sure I'm not humiliated too badly.

Awesome - I'll be looking out for rllmuk-looking folk on stream ;) Anyway, when's the next online forum tournament? FTD used to arrange them but he's moved onto greater things, and I missed Heggfest, so we need something XBL-shaped :P

Camel, I notice that you have a full xbox friends list which I assume is a high level tactic to not get beaten by Guile

I went on an adding spree as soon as you requested Guile v Dhalsim help.

Given that dudley's cr.hp is +4 on hit, getting a counter hit gives an extra +3, and both of dudley's ultras come out in 8 frames, how is it possible to link cr.hp into either ultra on counter hit? This is something which I quite literally wouldn't mind knowing.

Dudley likes the break the rule of counter hit heavy attacks getting a bonus +3 frame advantage.

His crouching fierce is +8 on counter hit just because of magic. Similarly, his standing roundhouse is +2 on hit, but +7 on counter hit.

I know all the Dudley things because I put a loooootta research into Dudley.

The general rules for counter hits are that light attacks get a bonus +1 and medium and heavy attacks get +3. They also do 25% more damage. There are exceptions to this, where counter hits change the property of the move entirely, or for character specific reasons.

One example is Zangief, where close standing HK is 0 on hit so he has the option to go for an SPD or not afterwards. This move still leaves him at 0 on counter hit, because it would be a hindrance to him if it didn't. I think close standing MP might be the same, where it's +1 on hit and +1 on counter hit, because your tick SPD timing would be thrown off if it changed.

Also for his EX green hand, on hit it's +1, but on counter hit it knocks down.

I just did a heap of ironing for an hour so I finally got around to watching those AirBehr dojo episodes, up to the start of four. Brilliant stuff really, though I already kinda get option selects and how they work it was good to watch them break it down into the process of coming up with new ones for different matchups. Also, I don't really use them at all, and I really oughta. Especially to shut up that backdashin' cow Rose.

Also also, Air would make a beautiful wife.

Could one of you wonderful people direct me to an archive of the Telford SSFIV matches? The missus is out and I'm long overdue some Gawp Fighter IV, seeing as I can't play the game for shit.
