Ha, I like that. I'll let the AK spray but I'll feel just awful about it afterwards

Also I just played this fighting game for several hours with no incidents. It looks like the new housemate makes SF-ing even more difficult than the one who moved out. I don't know what people have done to this network but I can only get perfectly smooth games with no interruptions when everyone has gone to bed.

Ended up playing a whole lotta games of random select against a guy called BrokenChun, who has a decent Chun as you'd expect, and was also willing to play random select and appears to dabble in the whole cast ike myself. Ended up taking it about 15-11 or something. Was good fun.

Then I played Anxious Brute for fifteen games of Akuma vs Ryu. I won them all, but he messaged me to say he's just learning the game and wants to improve and to add him as a friend and such. So I booted a man off my friends list and did that. Also I pointed him in the direction of this place because I think it's a great place to ask questions and improve your game without dealing with the SRK dickhead contingent.

Gg last night chaps. Cammy's vortex on ryu works so deliciously well, though imp you gave me too much credit by always blocking cross up.

My early start turned out to be my mum ringing at 3am to inform me dad has had a heart attack, so I'm now on a train to Coventry instead of at my work meeting. He's OK I think, so that's a relief.

Good lord that is awful. I have never clicked the upvote button so angrily.

I bought Sonic the Fighters for 400 points. I've always been curious about it since playing as Bean and Bark in Fighters Megamix on the Saturn. I assumed it would be like Virtua Fighter with most of the good stuff removed but with more Sonic and friends. That's about right as it goes. It's god awful, but I love terrible fighting games almost as much as great ones so it's OK.

It really is shit isn't it? It has a slightly eerie quality to it because none of the fighters have voice samples, so they're just expressionless angular floaty beings headbutting each other while the camera angles get bizarrely creative and disorienting. Also some of the throws do 50% damage. I would like to run it as a tournament at a Heggfest anyway, it has all the requisite qualities.

My favourite thing so far is how half arsed the achievments are. "Complete Stage 1" "Complete Stage 2" etc. and then one slightly obscure one for playing as the secret character, but the achievment has the command for accessing said character in the description.

It's still in the top two Sonic games I've bought this month, but is unfortunately in second place.

I simply should not buy it. There's not even any wild must haves on it. I mostly want it for Miiverse, haha.

Also, I attempted to better my Nerve Wrack score last night, but I messed up a wee bit on the second stage. Finished the third as well anyway, for the practice, and got within 50 coins of my record. Oh man. I then re-did it, didn't mess up, but played it too safe at the end, failing to land on the top of the flagpole. Huff.

It does. Nintendoland all sounds completely amazing. I really don't understand the wild negativity, but then I guess the internet has more than enough wild negativity to give. I want to buy it and take it all down to my mum's for post-christmas excellent fun times.

Unless some unmissable exclusive is announced for the console (Street Fighter V?) I'm going to wait a while; maybe see if any info emerges about Sony and MS's next boxes... Plus I already spent a load of money this year on a Vita and a new desktop. :( Wallet Fighter.
