I tried to play some Street Fighter last night. Out of practice, kind of tired, fluffed Ultras and bad decisions all over the place. I was legit angry. :(

At least I'd been out for Eritrean food. More meals should end with coffee and popcorn.

Alioune vs Starnab was just excellent. I've not seen too many streams recently, so I'm not as utterly sick of Fei and Cammy as everyone else seems to be. Also it made it more exciting knowing I've played both of them online before (And Rufus'd Starnab's Fei to death once in Vanilla!*)

Also this T Hawk is rubbish. He could at least sometimes not mash SPD.

EDIT: Actually, he just did a pretty ace dash under ultra 1, haha.

So a mix of some good stuff (fighters!) and some cheap stuff. I was gutted to not find any street fighter merchandise at all, although I did get an IC card. Also disappointed at the cost of a lot of stuff there. I had visions of bringing back bags of the games of my dreams, but no. Ibara costs 100-odd quid there just as it does here for eg.

Stuff not pictured: 4 t-shirts (one for me, one for friend, two for kids), 2 bottles of sake, sake jug and cups, loads of chocolates and biscuits for kids + work, bowls and such for my mum, Teddie figure keyring, bottle of Kyoto brewed beer.

I'm glad I took an extra bag :/

Didn't get to spend as much time in arcades as I had hoped, but then we had a ridiculously full holiday*, all planned and executed with military precision. My win rate at some point in our second week:

Then on the night before we left, I hit the Sega in Shinjuku. 8 straight losses against a ridiculous Viper. Good job I got the pic before then ;)

* 4 nights in Kyoto, 9 in Tokyo, taking in Kiyomizu-Dera and all the temples between there and Chion-In, Arashiyama monkey park on mount Iwata, Fushimi Inari shrines on mount Inari, Nikko, Kegon falls at lake Chuzenji, Kamakura, Enoshima Island and the Iwaya caves, Tama Zoo in Hino City, Odaiba island, Akihabara, Ghibli Museum in Mitaka, Tokyo national Museum and Asakusa district. We found time to get some Belgian beers both in Kyoto (at a surprisingly good 'English pub') and in Tokyo (Belgo) and tried some local Kyoto beers. We finally found 8-Bit Cafe in Tokyo and the much better Muteki Mario bar and we ate in a prison hospital themed restaurant near Shibuya (Alcatraz ER).

Weather was lovely. Nice and hot mostly, t-shirt weather, a few spots of rain. Couple of nights I needed a jumper but definitely not a coat. Was starting to get cold just before we left. Thanks for all the advice, NS. Also, our hotel was slap next to a Citibank so getting money out was a doddle.

That's an amazing haul Camel. :)

Started trying to do something productive on my Youtube channel and start creating a list of all your Youtube channels down the right-hand side so that it gets a bit more exposure and separates you guys from my other subs. Plopboy could probably do a way better job of this than me, but I thought it would be useful to keep everyone in one place. I'm just putting this out there so that I can add anyone I've missed. :)

I just got a lovely fight request from Mr Samuel but XBL disconnected me as I tried to join and now it won't let me connect, profound sadness :(

To be fair XBL has been playing up all night, which is odd as I usually don't have any problems.

Qazi your Youtube page looks lovely and I did notice TheShend has more subscribers by a huge margin than anyone else :)
