Went into Nate's Yodobashi today in Shinjuku and sadly the tentacle porn is all gone. Bought a bunch of Mario stuff for my nephew instead and two SFxT capsules which both had the same PS3 cat dressed like Kazuya inside. Those were literally the only items of street fighter merchandise I have seen in the whole time I have been here. Someone tell me where to fill my boots with SF goods please.

Spent today on Odaiba Island, a huge man-made island in Tokyo bay. It's where the ridiculously massive Gundam robot is. They had some special flower event thing on, which was basically an excuse to create another big robot but made out of a flowery bush. I bought my son a limited edition t-shirt commemorating the robotany which he won't appreciate.

Now it's Sake time.

I think we are going to a maid cafe today. I honestly can't work out what my gf makes of this idea. I think she is intrigued but is also worried I am secretly a pervert.

Kind of frustrating that there's seldom a full bracket online for things like this, or if there is it's results as they come in, so you can't see who's against who without spoiling it. You'd think if they can make it, they can upload it. Heggfest pioneered this, of course.

This might be old news but here's a handy link I found for downloading Twitch streams, just paste the long number from the end of the URL in and it creates a download link - http://bashtech.net/...ch/download.php

Edit - ah, it only grabs the first two hours that way but if you enter the channel name instead you get a big list of the channel archives and you can take what you like from there.

Guys I went to a maid cafe today and the slightly intimidating maid made me chant with her while she stirred my coffee (not a euphemism sadly) then we had our picture taken with her and she made us do cat poses then she stuck glittery bows on our heads in the photo and coloured in our cheeks. It was totally excellent.

Then I went a bit mad in Akihabara but still haven't found any Street Fighter merchandise except for a Strekken lunchbox. I bought roughly 4 million games however. Fuck knows how I'm going to get it all home. Then we got completely lost trying to find a prison hospital themed restaurant before giving up and going to an Italian restaurant near our hotel. I haven't had a bad meal since I got here. My gf isn't so keen on Japanese food though, sadly. Street finder.
