GGs guys. Although bandwidth monster is away at the moment, I did not account for one of my other housemates staying up unusually late and streaming things before bed. When she did go to bed I was left with a gloriously lag-free connection for about 6 games of Oni vs Seth against Donut. After that I hit ranked for quite a while to make the most of this rare opportunity for lag-free games. I stuck to more skilled, played as Chun and Dudley, it went quite well and I've dragged myself back up to 2,882PP. I will rejoin 3,000 club soon, yes I will.

I'm jealous of your internet connection and your german adventure, samuel. I will have my own german adventure later this year also. And a kinda mexican adventure like Nate's as well as I'll be in a very mexican part of Texas for a wee bit (San Antonio). I've asked if I can be dropped of at Arcade UFO in Austin for a few hours as a birthday present, like a sort of creche for a giant child.

Also, I've been playing New Super Mario Bros 2 instead of Street Fighter lately. I really was not keen on the original NSMB at all (or even the Wii one really), so I'm pretty surprised by how much I've enjoyed it. It's tempting me to get back into Mario Kart 7 so I can attempt to dethrone Donut. But there's radlord and the utterly ridiculous Hyper P's scores tempting me to learn how the hell you're supposed to play NiGHTS as well

NiGHTS would be absolutely brilliant on the 3DS actually. As long as they made the controls properly analogue the circle pad would be amazing*.

Thanks for the games A1*r and thanks for letting me win one Marvel game :) I suck so badly at Marvel, soooo bad.

You seem to have gone purple as well.

Sorry I had to scoot so quick but I'd promised the good lady wife I would just be a minute whilst I was playing Marvel :)

You know for a moment there I thought you hadn't noticed, and I was sad.

Sorry if deliberately losing the penultimate round made you later than you already were. If it's any consolation to your good lady I did end up landing that overhead, cr.LP link I'd been hoping for!

And yes, I'm purple now. It was time to give alt 3's best colour an outing :-)

Oh my goodness. Nearly a full half hour of jaw-dropping Gouken trickery. I keep saying that everyone should play Gouken because of all the fun I have using him and going for these insane resets and gimmicks he has, and this man seems to know and use all of them as well as plenty he looks to have invented himself. He's doing stuff I've never even seen from Desora, Bullcat, ProudStrawberry etc. and I ended up rewinding almost every clip to watch it again.

To the lab!

Wow.

Oh my. I only watched about a third of that Gouken video this morning but that some pretty great, reset-heavy stuff. I loved the full Denjin into EX Tatsu in the corner before the wall bounce, haha, as well as those delicious corner combos with EX Palm FADC jump back mp, jump in mp > reset voodoo.

So much stun going on!

I'm scared that your upload speed being higher than my download speed might suck all the internet out of my house.

Are you still on Virgin?

If so have you tried this?

Firstly give you Xbox a static IP not one assigned by DHCP.

Add the static IP and MAC of the Xbox to the address reservation on the Shub under "LAN IP".

Open the following ports under "advanced" and then "port forwarding" on the Shub.

Port 88 (UDP)

Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)

Port 53 (UDP and TCP)

Port 80 (TCP)

You should have no more problems after that.

I have indeed tried that. I'm not sure if the fact my connection is ADSL is more of an issue, but it frequently cuts out. I'm literally 100 metres from the exchange. I can look through its windows and it looks like an old Tomorrow's World set.

I'm planning on moving soon and taking advantage of a better connection somewhere, but I'll have to settle for strict NAT for The Time Being.

Who else apart from joffo have I had issues connecting with? For some reason my router now sees fit to recognises my wireless access point, so it's succesfully in the DMZ, since the xbox connects via the wireless access point the router can't see it directly, but I assume this shouldn't be an issue since all the relevant ports will be opened anyway.

I don't know if my obese xbox has a static IP, but I know that my wireless bridge does, which again does all the main talking to the router.

Why in shitting crikey is this so difficult. And why the FUCK didn't microsoft release the 360 with built in wifi.
