I would prefer "losers bracket" to just "losers" but, in fairness, it's an accurate description.

Last night I watched Seasons Beatings top 16 and was about to move onto Marvel when they suddenly took down the archives :( They took a bit of heat for it on Twitter though and have since said they'll be putting them back up. So tonight I will stare dispassionately at the copy of Dishonored in front of me while just watching people play a fighting game I am awful at.

I think you should just makes "Losers" much much bigger to fill the space, but only for Alistarr vs. Nate because they deserve it the most.

People need to stop taking their archives down and inconveniencing me. Yes they do.

I'll probably skip over DoA until they're in the bargain bins preparing for the next-gen stuff. I'd imagine Tekken Tag will drop pretty sharply pretty soon. It's another of those Online Pass games though, infuriatingly, so there's that wee extra expense if you pick it up second hand. :(

I'm more annoyed that I bought it on release day from a shop so I don't get the free DLC that online preorders got and I have to wait like a chump. I hate all this retailer-specific nonsense.

I don't hate Shadow of Memories though. Gave that another go last night, didn't fail the Prologue this time and really enjoyed it once I'd worked out what I was doing. The clunkiness and ugliness is all part of the appeal, it reminds me a lot of the shite oddities you'd see reviewed on Consolevania that looked interesting and you knew you'd probably never play.

The archives will be re opened as soon as we figure a few things out with godlike entertainment and cross counter. I will be giving updates

I want to watch other people play fighting games.

Also I have successfully avoided buying Marvel vs Capcom 2 while it's on sale! Now it's going to be ages before we have to spend a week avoiding buying an awesome-looking cut price fighting ga... oh.

The other night I played a 4000PP French Sagat player calling himself Magojisanboy. I sent him a GG and he sent me a friend request. I feel like one of the cool kids at school laughed at my joke or something.

Have you been watching Indie Game: The Movie? I finally saw it at the weekend and it really put me in the mood to play Meat Boy again, but I don't have a 360 anymore. Also Phil Fish seemed a lot more likeable and much less fat than I'd imagined but then it didn't show you the game coming out and him being successful so maybe that's the point he became an obnoxious, loud and wrong arsehole.

Indie Game has just been added to US Netflix so I'll be watching that soon.

I played some online HD Remix the other night and its mostly awful - I played a Bison who got in once and repeated a 3 hit combo twice and I then I died :(

Thank fuck Sirlin didn't get to make SFIV

Is Sirlin being blamed for Super Turbo's touch of death combos here, or being blamed for not taking them out?

I've been watching so much Third Strike recently, thanks to The Shend's YouTube channel. It's made we want to finally pick it up even though I know I would be terribly terrible at it. Beyond terrible, in fact.

The Shend's videos are amazing though because the commentators scream away in Japanese at the action but they really outdid themselves in the final 35 seconds of this video.

More that I get the impression that his version of IV would have just been HD Remix with time rewind which would mean 3 hit combo *rewind* 3 hit combo *sadness*

I just found the whole experience of online HD remix to be no fun at all (and Sirlin always comes off as a dick so I'm probably prejudiced to start with)
