camel are you going to go to a japanese arcade and attempt to scrubbily mash at daigo?

I will definitely be spending lots of time in arcades. I expect to lose lots. Why is there no Strekken arcade cab? I want to hear abuse in Japanese for a change.

oh my god the steak.

pork belly ribs and potted beef and yorkshire puddings to start

medium rare ribeye, triple cooked chips, mash, greens and anchovy hollandaise for the main event

salted caramel and popcorn ice cream for dessert.

rough and ready French red on the side. not too clever for the meal.

wow. perfect meal. just perfect.

This brought a tear to my eye and a bulge to my pants.

If I get time I'm going to play Strekken later. I miss being abused over the internet by social misfits.

Back on topic, I saw Rashomon and Tokyo Story on the big screen on Monday night and both were excellent, Tokyo Story in particular. I enjoyed it so much that I have just borrowed Early Summer from my local library.

GGs Donut! That is apparently how late I have to play to get a run of stable games. Was a lot of fun though. Was pleased to hit a couple of the new Dee Jay and Dudley combos I've been practising. Having bandwidth-hungry housemates will do wonders for my execution at least. I get disheartened by the lag but feel like I should at least play a bit of training mode after taking the time to switch monitors and put the game on.

Ended up playing lots more games afterwards to take advantage of the blissfully lag free connection. Went on a winning streak in ranked, where everyone was playing as Bison. I hate fighting against a solid lame Bison. It's actually a decent match up for Chun, 5-5 at worst, but he's just one of my personal bogey characters.

Am now on just over 3,100pp, so almost at the point where a loss won't take me under the 3,000 mark. Pooooiints!

Also it's Seasons Beatings Ascension this weekend, Spooky providing the stream. AE will have Justin wong, PR Rog, Dieminion, Ricky Ortiz, Alex Valle, Laugh and Infiltration amongst others.

Marvel is ridiculously stacked too, with Yipes in attendance along with six of this year's Evo top 8, including TA Frutsy from Mexico and his excellent MODOK.

Traditional Seasons Beatings exhibition matches are Team U.S.A. vs Team Rest of the World in Marvel and Team EG vs. Team not EG in AE.

I gave up on ranked ages ago on account of being so bad at the game. Usually I just go straight to endless and set up an eight-player room with the tag "Everyone welcome", before letting them come to me. :D

I have MvC2 on XBLA if you want to play that though. My Cable is crap awesome. :)
