I think that's basically how Imp and Haggar live their whole lives these days, except both sides of the card are green.

I'm making chilli noodles and earlier in the week I made pickled cucumber and carrot in Japanese vinegar which I will eat at the same time.

There's a place called Viva Brazil around here that everyone is always going on about. Same green/red card for constant meat way of doing things also. My cousin ("Big Gezza") said that they had chicken hearts on skewers. He also said it was amazing.

Tekken Tag Tournament is pretty great. I'm only trying to get good at it so I can beat my wee cousin when I finally get a Wii U.

Lads, all the stages in Tekken Tag Tournament 2 are amazing. It's such a lovely game. I'm not even too disappointed that the yodeling sheep stage isn't in there! Hopefully I can unlock the yodelling music though.

I'm two for two on having a great time in endless battles today. Learnt something about the Gouken matchup then moved on and played a dude who was clearly just starting to learn Oni for a while. When we got bored and started changing characters I got to land my Oni triple reset too, which I hope inspired him to greater things than the so-called "combos" he was showing off.

Seems that Gootecks is doing his own thing in addition to Excellent Adventures now.

I love his Rose. His grinding, meter-building, near-comboless Rose. It makes me feel all warm and safe inside.

Gootecks is so, so, so obsessed with having the meter advantage, it's amazing. Never the life advantage. Always meter. Which he never spends.

and yes his rose is almost painful to watch sometimes. Chipping away at the opponent with cr.mp and normals and the odd fireball or spiral. they they get in and hit him with a combo and a mix up and he's down on life and starts swearing and looking all unhappy and it's so sad.

then you watch a him playing urien in sf3 and he's just constantly overjoyed by life, it seems.

I think he should ditch rose. Sour wench.

He plays Rose correctly, as she is all about footsies, low risk and meter management, but I agree that he seems to be so utterly miserable doing it that he should consider changing. I think she's too much of a Streetfighter-y character and he's going to be continuously pissed off about the SF4-y stuff that screws him over if he doesn't. Balrog is similarly orthodox, but they've given him SF4 survival tools with the EX rushes and his mashable jab so he doesn't have to take all the abuse.

Rose has the perfect set of tools to fight against a normal character, but against Cammy, for instance, he's playing footsies perfectly but he can't anti-air her without risking a dive kick stuffing so she can just brainlessly jump and jump and jump and rush him down and he has no answers, and dive kicks are just the tip of the bullshit iceberg. Or iceturd. For Rose to compete you have to be as dedicated and match-up savvy as Louffy, but if you're only playing as frequently as Gootecks and already have a Balrog then you should probably stick with 'rog.
