It wasn't my idea, I was just repeating what I had heard. I think whoever did suggest it wasn't in the room at the time.

Yeah, I watched @L1574rR's last batch of vids from the bottom up. It seems to be a joint effort between yourself, imp and JLM :)

Did everyone watch that Bushido Impact footage yet? It's almost as good as Super Turbo at Evo this year. Almost.

I always go with the beans at pitt cue, to be honest, they're magical. Also you'd best have got the extra meat for a mere £5 more. If you didn't then you should scold yourself quite severely. What were their specials today? I can't not have the pulled pork, but the specials always look good also.

Also doughnutte, I have watched some of the bushido impact. The match between louffy and ryan hart was possible the closest match I have seen for ages. Every round went down to the last slivers of health and time, it seemed.

I'm going to pick up sagat for heggfest 2013. Lame you all out.

I'm pretty sure i just repeated Imp's suggestion of Rose Ball word for word, realising as I was speaking that I had nothing whatsoever to add to it and just felt compelled to voice my approval.

I'll get to the Bushido Impact stuff soon. I meant to watch it straight away, then realised I hadn't watched WSO for months and watched an episode of that instead. Always enjoy watching Afii's Dee Jay and Isam's Dudley amongst others. WorstGiefEver was playing more seriously than usual and looked like a threat as well. They're all in training for Canada Cup, which is just a few weeks away. They're doing the international 5 vs 5 again, should be hype.

In the interests of gathering further Dudley science, I have also started following five of my favourite Dudleys on the replay channel. WhiteDoong from Korea, SmugDaBeast from America, Kuroken from Japan, Isam/Unstoppable DJ from the UK and Mr. Kimokoan from France. Five of the finest Dudleys in the universe in my estimation. I would have put PJS Liquid on there but he tends to do absurd combo exhibitions that will always be beyond my abilities. Mr. Kimokoan is the godliest of them all for me, and is the Dudley I would most like to emulate. I stole that tremendous anti-Ibuki tech from him as well. He very helpfully uploads the majority of his Endless and Ranked matches, sorting them into playlists by character, so I can watch entire playlists of Dudley vs Character X and see how he deals with the match up. He also seems like a lovely helpful chap in his comments.

Observe Mr. Kimokoan's utter, utter brilliance here, and if you don't want to sit through it all then at least watch the classiest of finishes at the end:

I think one of the specials was chicken fried steak, but I can't remember the other. I should have had the beans tbh. Also I wanted the green chili coleslaw, but I thought he said it came with slaw anyway. Next time!

Also roseball as a tiebreaker was entirely my idea and I refuse to share credit. I am the apple of heggfest roseball.

Also I was practicing the most stylin' 4 bar combo with big sagat the other night. It is this:

j.mp, cr.mp X tiger uppercut FADC, Angry Scar, Ex uppercut juggle with U1. One day I will land it in a match. Though bugger me the timing on ex uppercut U1 is tight.

If you have 3 bars and land an uppercut FADC, you can angry scar and then juggle with another regular uppercut, since angry scar changes the juggle properties. It's well worth the meter for the massive extra damage, and also looking excellent, as sagat solemnly contemplates the next uppercut he will dish out to you for a moment.

Also I tried the chilli 'slaw and it is very good. The meat isn't served with a coleslaw, so much as some kind of pickle. It's still very good and freshens up the mouth quite nicely I think. Also the beef ribs there are joyous. Better maybe than even their pork ones. The pitt cue food trailer on the south bank is also worth trying. Quite close to you too. gotta get there before summer finishes though!

Donut, Outfoxies is hilarious. Just had a couple of all out wars against Betty Doe. We went back and forth with grenades and machine guns, she got the edge with the rocket launcher, but in the dying moments I threw a box over her head and punched her into the shark tank and the sharks did the rest. Never played anything quite like it.

I realise I ran off with the prize as the crossword was ongoing by the end of the weekend, but if we meet up for fights again you are very welcome to the Crossword Dictionary. It's incredible and has definitely not just been sitting on my shelf unused since I got it.

I am in exile from fightings while I hammer youtube so I'm trying to play Shadow of the Colossus. I keep falling in a lake, swimming round to a ramp, jumping off and missing what I'm aiming for and falling back in the lake. Poor spacing, I guess.

Jellum, please FT10 me sometime so I can learn how to fight Chun. I don't know how to fight Chun. And then Deejay. And then... Gouken maybe.

Also2 is anyone on here getting tekken tag tournament two? That wild mario mushroom video in the TTT2 thread made me want to spend some of my hard earned british pounds sterling on it.

Strekken has proven how hopeless I am with Namco's goons so I might wait a bit. Besides, it'll be a fiver a few weeks after release ;)

I assumed that would only be in the Wii U version? Anyway, yes, I bought it. I am off work sick (hungover) and just played through the fight lab mode, then the story mode. The fight lab has fun humour mainstream media reviewers will probably call "bonkers" and edgier online type places will call "Batshit mental". It's very fun, and gives you a decent grounding in Tekken fundamentals, even if it is all a lot to take in.

I ended up doing that thing where you win all the time on arcade on medium right up until the very last fight, and then lose it 8 times in a row. Basic sensible play worked in the end though; I just held back and did a three jab punish repeatedly til I won. I did not enjoy myself. I have a 52.9% win rate and I haven't even played online yet.

The game is beautiful though, some of the stages are glorious. Also, Bob's ending is just bloody marvellous. Spoilered:

I am encouraged by the reports of good netcode in Tekken Tag 2. Please post more things in here about it Joffo, I don't enjoy threads about new fighting games as much as this one. Spam spammer spammy spamming spampton court spamomile tea.

I'm going to Fazenda this evening for an endless supply of beef, chicken, pork and lamb. Probably no spam though. You have a little card on your table with a red side and a green side. When the green side is up the meats keep coming, and you display the red side when you need time to breathe/sweat. I am excited.
