It is a bit long.I find that infuriating in an otherwise impeccable shirt.

Imp is Magus1234, isn't he? I don't know why I'm surprised to be unable to recognise anyone else but there we are.

I accidentally bought a PS2 at the weekend. Initial searching appears to suggest there's no way to get a USB stick working on it without modding it, anyone know if there's a half decent adapter or something? Also I think I saw a post by Camel not so long ago that PS3 component cables were compatible with PS2s as well, is that right? I wasn't really paying attention.

PS3/PS2 component leads are the same thing, yes. Not sure I understand your question about USB sticks. Do you mean to run things like HDLoader and whatnot?

Jiro, Cale isn't in that pic. Sadly, I was only there for Fri and late Sun, so missed lots of people. Which one is me, Jiro?

I'm sad about not being in the picture. :(

I'm also sad that I now have no Krispy Kreme doughnuts left from the eighteen I bought on Sunday. I don't know whether one opening in Glasgow or me returning to London will happen first. They now have salted caramel and white chocolate pistachio ones too; oh my.

Choo's Blanka trolling was masterful; even while he was describing exactly how he'd sit there doing nothing but crouching jab before upballing when I jump in I'd still edge forward before jumping in and being upballed. It was excellent. Also, teching Blanka's short hop > throw nonsense is pretty easy offline compared to how impossible I find it online. What a strange thing.

Also also, Mark of the Ninja is pretty excellent. Stealth bastard I am.

Ah, I worded that pretty badly! I should've just said TE, basically a fight stick that terminates in a USB connector.

Ah. PS2 doesn't support controllers via USB.

EDIT: Which is why you're asking about adaptors. Duh. Don't know sorry.

Although ... it's worth investing in a nice PS2 stick if you also have a PS3 and don't mind splashing out a bit extra on one of Laugh's PS3->PS2 adaptors. That way you'll have a nice stick you can use on both PS2 and PS3.

I have another version of that pic where Alistarr is basically facepalming. Hang on ...

EDIT: ah, it's a bit blurry ...

post-19010-0-51454000-1347368504_thumb.j

So, from left to right ...

Hyper P, Choo, Joe, Imp, Camel (kneeling), Haggar, Alistarr, Donut, JLM

In the other pic, I'm missing and Hegg is showing his one beard to rule them all.

What. I'm at least twice as nasal and four times as whiny as Magus1234. SCOOPS!

I watched Indie Game: The Movie yesterday. Wonderful stuff. Had me close to tears at a few points but that's not saying much because pretty much everything makes me cry these days. Missus cale also enjoyed it immensely and was just as emotionally invested in it as I was. Highly recommended if you've not already seen it.

Those pictures of the Heggfest crew are fantastic by the way!

It's hard being on the other side of the curtain to a certain extent, I guess. I just wanted everyone to win! Cheers for the hookup too!

Found this too:

EDIT: Joffo, I have eaten two Krispy Kreme doughnuts today and have another one saved for later on. One of the ones I had was the new praline one (very cakey and all the better for it) and the other was a maple iced (always excellent). The one I have saved is the salted caramel one. A full report will follow.

You and your maple iced.

In true Capcom style those prizes turned up today. Five comically oversized AE t-shirts with Evil Ryu on them, which I'm happy to send out to top five or hold back for next year - I'll go with the consensus. And a (seemingly used) PS3 SE stick which I will definitely hold back for next year because Donut's vinyl was just the best and I sort of want to punish Jason for knowing option selects.

I look forward to it. I had some of those maple iced ones when I was in Texas and they were amazing. My favourite of the ones I had over the weekend was probably that millionaires' shortbread one (I'm not sure where the apostrophe goes), as it was wildly rich and delicious. The strawberry lipgloss one not so much.

I also watched Indie Game: the movie with the lady, who did think Phil Fish was a dick but felt a bit sorry for him. Especially when we then found out about all the patch issues with Fez too. Plus Fez is cute, despite not exactly being as great as I hoped it would be. We liked Edmund the best. He seemed like a nice man, and the most grounded.

I played Donut and JLM at ye olde SSFIV in endless for a while this afternoon. It was good times. JLM managed the most spectacular comeback as Sakura against my Ryu at one point and later, with the characters reversed, landed an even more spectacular combo-ridden perfect on me. He's saved the replay, so no doubt it'll be in here in youtube format, with my mashed, failed inputs splattered wildly all up the right hand side.

Yeah; they were up giving away boxes of a dozen a couple of weeks back in the Glasgow Fort, St Enoch's Centre and Buchanan Galleries about a week or two ago. Imagine my extreme heartache when I realised I'd missed it. I'd even liked their facebook page months prior in anticipation. Stupid overtime commitments. I shoulda taken a day off.

I'd imagine there will be one soon; every city in the uk is all about coffee and pastries now. They sell coffee and pastries in every shop ever. "People like them; let's make some more of them".

I hope Taco Ball does the same. I am being wildly obese today. Two'sDay Pizza Hut and The Toxic Avenger on Netflix. I also found out they're showing that Phoenix Wright movie at the Glasgow Film Theatre next month. I dunno if it's supposed to be good or not, but I'm on board for that.

Uh, hadouken.

I hope it has the courtroom music all redone in a slick, full orchestra style, that would probably be the best thing about it.

My PS2 has arrived and is broken which means that rather than play Tekken 5 for a few minutes before sticking it in a cupboard I will probably spend an entire evening agonising over how to word this eBay message. Profound sadness.

There are a few albums of orchestral Phoenix Wright music I believe, with excellent covers like this:

Can't really say more than what has been said already; awesome session, great to meet everyone, gutted I couldn't stay longer!

Special thanks to Hegg for sorting out the venue! Amazing stuff, fella

Was on event hubs just before; not a whiff of Heggfest!! What BS is that!? Favouritism!

I think in some places it was also known as "Hakan Day". I remember having preordered from Shopto to snag the aforementioned Dhalsim shirt, knowing I would get it on the Thursday, and still being so unbearably excited I bought it from G-Force on the Wednesday in the full knowledge I would have about an hour to play it and would give myself the problem of having twice as may copies as I needed when the post next came.

I don't think I've ever been as excited for a game since the Christmas I asked for Super Mario All-Stars.
