I played Marvel 3 on Vita yesterday, but it was just some single-player Heroes and Heralds. I'm still losing matches against the CPU despite having MAAAAX! attack power thanks to my cards. It would help if I knew combos, or if I didn't stubbornly insist on using "the single worst team it would be possible to make" (thanks Haggar.)

That said, I still don't have it on a home console, so until I sort that out I'll have to pester Nate to run a set with me on Vita.

I'm tempted to try Persona 3/4, in the meantime, but I'm afraid they might not be for me. I don't have a PSP anymore either, so I'd be playing them on the big telly via the PS3, which means I could be playing fighting games instead and probably will.

Sadness.

Do you have a backward compatible PS3? Or are the Persona PS2 games on PSN?

I have a backward compatible PS3, the old launch model. A Street Fightin' man* gave me it for free because the HDMI doesn't work (the component does though).

I'll see if I can pick up a copy of Persona 4 then, sirs! Is the PSP version better? I might get a cheap old PSP, maybe.

Persona 3 is also incredible. I am completely addicted to it, and it's only £14 on PSN this week which is a SUPER BARGAIN.

Can you even play PSP games on a PS3? It plays really lovely on the Vita either way.

I have floorspace for you Joffo! Possibly also sofabed space provided our house is fully furnished by that point! (I officially have a house to move into next tuesday). So yeah, I can offer 2 in a sofabed, and floorspace for two or three more I think, without things getting too uncomfortable.

The PSP version of Persona 3 is the definitive one, I believe. Persona 4 is PS2 only (in English) right now, but the Vita version is out this fall, and comprehensively superior (I am playing it in moonspeak because I'm an unbelievable nerd).

Double whammy this week. Dropped my mobile, smashing the screen- £55 to fix and then got a £90 bill for bike repairs. Can I afford JoJo's? No - but I'm still buying it.

you might all be better off trying to group-book a dorm in a hostel somewhere central, if cheapness is the main thing that you're after. I don't know how many travel lodge type places there are round the south that reasonably priced.
