Ultra Street Fighter IV

That's a shame because Mr Donut was sharing his technology!

I played Xtekken with Curtis and, while it was a fun time hanging out chatting nonsense, the games were dire. I think the only fun I had was correctly reading evasive rolls. Then played many games of street fighter with imp and joffocakes and donut. After joffocakes had left at one point I successfully landed an anti-air focus attack on imp's Ken and shouted "joffocakes!" in triumph. Ten seconds later imp hit me with walk-up DP and shouted "imp!" in triumph.

Allystarr, all being well I will be back in Leeds by the time of Heggfest and would therefore be up for another via-Manchester trip to London.

Are you ever going to be back on the xbox? It's been three days. Ghost Rider misses you.

I've picked up a secret character for Heggfest. Learnt some things this afternoon - combos, safe jump setups, an OS I can't really do, and general tactics. Seems to be working out fairly well online! So much hype for Heggfest mang.

I think I've got it narrowed down to two. I totally mis-guessed JLM's secret character though, so I'm probably wrong.

Sorry I dodged you this afternoon, imp - I was shutting down just as your message popped up, having already left it too long to get up off the sofa and go help a certain someone with the chores.

Nate, I was just reading the "why I make games" article in the current EDGE, and I got to Nagoshi. He doesn't end his paragraph with "See you!"

I feel this is a grave, grave error.

He didn't even mention drinking either. :(

Nagoshi was the best. You could read his column and pretend you were getting an insight into the Japanese culture and way of life when in reality he'd be recalling his "bottle of borboun a day" antics.

Way better than Lapin Kojima or whatever his name was *hides*

I'll be away the whole weekend I'm afraid, so its a bit of a no go for hotel haggar, especially given potential moving of flatmates around then. if I'm central to it going ahead then basically any other weekend in September is good.

wish he'd maybe told me a bit sooner.

I'm afraid I can't do the weekend of the 14-16 Sept. 31 Aug-2 Sept is also bad since I'm moving in that weekend.

21-23 and 28-30 should be fine though. Gulp, suppose October is fine too.

I guess P4A should almost certainly be out by then anyway. P4A-fest?

Just popped in to see the news about Hotel Haggs and alternate dates being mooted. Sadly I doubt I'd be able to do any other weekends in September. 14-16th will be occupied with my first 10k run (still wondering what the hell I'm doing there), and last weekend is Rock Club Londons first anniversary event. 21st and 23rd currently looks to be empty but you can almost guarantee I've forgotten something. Can still do the original weekend, but hours of attendance may be somewhat limited due to needing to 'commute' home.

Now the Olympics are over I may even get some custody of the television back.
