GGs yourself mister, some fun matches earlier. I love how much pink Haggar brings to a lobby.

I'm tempted by the Qanba stick that works on 360 and PS3, does anyone have one or used one? Donut posted a link to a mod kit the other day which looks swell but for the difference in price I could probably sell my TE and save myself some work/waiting/potential customs charges.

GGs to Mac, Qazi and the Mayor just now. For some reason my internet just died on me as if Dan was in charge of sorting it out. Anyway some ggs where had there :)

My favourite from earlier was this jammy come back against Donut

I'd like to point out that Donut had all the skills and I am a fraud.

There's something about Ryu's cr.mp, cr.mp, cr.hk that I just find intensely satisfying to land and have done for over three years now, it's a beautiful thing. And you can get three punches in on Rufus and presumably some others which makes it even better.

Geegs everyone. I think I got kind of lucky with the random select a few times, it seemed rather keen to give me people who I had at least some idea how to play. I have to admit that I was trolling quazi slightly when I got given guy. I kind of know you're fond of the old jumping backwards, quazi, and guy can punish you for doing that with his forward flipping midair throw move thing, so I was using that quite a bit! Oh and I think I trapped you in the impfinite too when I got viper later on.

Other highlights included hitting donut with the valle and landing a gen stance-change combo. And donut perfecting my cammy with hawk, also. I miss the links into spiral arrow often enough for that move to be a massive liability against grapplers.

How else can I prepare my divekicks? :P

I think I could have my own flowchart here: jump back, divekick, get blocked, die, repeat...

Yeah, hmm dunno what happened there - it was probably something to do with Haggar's lag switch.

Actually, Live's messaging seems very laggy when I'm in game at the moment, which leads to all sorts of nonsense where I'm pressing buttons and hitting keys (on the USB keyboard) and nothing seems to be happening and then it all happens at once.

Yeah sorry about my internet of late guys. My flatmate is basically a one man branch of carphone warehouse. He does stuff related to android, so constantly has about 3 different tablets, 2 laptops and a few phones at home, connected to the router. I have no idea if this will impact the connection or not, but it can't help;.

Also I'm on wireless and it's BT anyway, none of which really fills one with confidence.

So your flat is kind of like the BT ads but with an Android developer instead of Spanish girls¿ Ay caramba!

My connection with you and donut was all over the place which was the real reason I left and not because I couldn't see through the salty tears I was choking back after yet another defeat at your callous, calloused hands.

Yes, it's a wild connection. Either utterly unplayable lagspikes or everything is fine. Especially good is when you get a wild lagspike after a knockdown and honour dictates you have to back off to fullscreen and mash jab.

And it wasn't that bad surely, we tend to go about 50/50? Apart from when my ryu wilded your chun li a bit.

Oh I also need to apologise to anyone who I beat with random select blanka. He's just based on wildly irritating scrubby mixups, but it seems to work.

I just purchased SSFIV:AE on Steam so I can practice during my lunchbreaks. I may have no shame.

I also grabbed the GTA Complete Pack.£4.99 for GTA 1, 2, 3, SA, VC, IV and Episodes from Liberty City? It'll provide some amusing distraction for sure. Now to just pick up an extra fightpad so I don't have to cart one in my bag at all times.

It's a bit disgusting isn't it. Hakan can just camp at fullscreen outside of sim's ideal range and oil himself silly, then he can punish basically any normal with focus dash cancel into a normal of his own, or just build wild amounts of meter with oil dive cancelled into coward crouch and then use oiled ex side to get in under a fireball from fullscreen. And it seems that 'sim can't do anything against an oiled up hakan who's in close apart from teleport, and hakan can just punish that with slide.

Apparently infiltration reckons the matchup is like 9-1 hakan. Madness.

Google is in this thread 140 times right now, apparently.

I hate you imp. Also, good games yesterday to all the sirs! I sat typing a far more involved post this morning in work only for me to click post and receive a message saying the site was blocked. Bastards.

;) GGs Cale!

GGs indeed you trolling bastard! Was wicked fun. :)

Hope to be on about 7ish for an hour or so again. Also, I may abandon my Secret Heggfest Character on account of being fucking garbage with them.

Ha oh my that is fucking ridiculous. Why does the commentator call it cheap at the end?

"Cheap" isn't reall a perjorative amongst fighting gamers. Amongst salty XBL rage mailers it still is, but if you hear it on stream commentary it just means extremely effective, dirty, hard to deal with etc. rather than being a criticism. When used to describe a particularly effective reset, set up or shenanigan it's often meant as a compliment when someone calls it cheap. Even amongst the rage mailers all it's ever really meant is "stop doing things I don't know how to deal with!" anyway.
