I actually bought three other games yesterday and got home with them, intending to play for a fair bit as it was my day off, but I ended up just playing Street Fighter for hours and hours instead. Blah. Switching to a new character does make the game really fun and fresh, though. I'm currently obsessing over Sakura.

Came on this morning to say pretty much EXACTLY the same thing.

I got Max Anarchy and Devil May Cry HD collection yesterday, played both for about 1/2 and hour...Then went back to playing SF for the rest of the evening.

Currently obsessing over Yun.

There was a mass exodus when 2012 came along, which is sad because he is still the same character minus the nerfed damage and dive kick. he is still good.

Shows how many people troll high tier and don’t just enjoy the character.

I haven't bought any new games since Gravity Rush (which is ace, by the way), but I'm wondering if I can get away with buying Tony Hawk next week and have enough space points left over to get Strekken characters at the end of the month. In the meantime I'll probably just continue playing Street Fighter for hours.

Man, I already know I'm going to agonise over whether or not to buy the strekken DLC.

Still haven't bought VF5:FS.

I hope whoever donated $3000 to Divekick chooses to make a buttstomp character who jumps forward and "kicks" straight down and is basically E. Honda in a Mario suit.

I had a few games with jiro last night and we were playing underwater the entire time. Since the set was cammy v cody, and underwater made it impossible for him to anti-air, I just kind of dive kicked and dive kicked with utter impunity. I don't think cammy should really jump vs cody too much, due to hk ruffian and b.mp. But jump I did.

Someone tell me how many invincibles cammy's U1 has. I thought it had loads, but I tried to go through rocks with it and the rocks hit me, and I was sad.

Also i am totally being a tier whore and making her my heggfest secret character.

Bit of help needed folks, one of the buttons on my Burly Brawlstick is a bit knacked and sometimes doesn't respond. Mashing legs with Chun has taken its toll. Can anyone either tell me or link me to:

a) where to buy new buttons (cheap if poss)

b) how to install them?

Any help at all much appreciated. :)

These are the ones, sir. They're really, really easy to click in where the old buttons were. If you're just using the buttons that came with the Brawlstick I'd recommend getting a full set of them; they're so much more responsive.

Oh man I have totally found my secret Heggfest character.

Whilst he's done me the solid of not naming and shaming, Joe utterly schooled me last night. 10 straight losses in a row, and the more I lost the sloppier and more predictable I got. It doesn't detract from the fact that Joe solidly handed me my arse on a plate.

Does anyone have advice on how I can refind my mojo? I just can't seem to reliably find my game since I came back to it.

Nah; you take of the metal panel on the stick's underside. Each button will have two wires clipped onto it; pull those off and then you can pop the buttons out. The other buttons can then be clipped in in their place and the wires re-connected. :)

You need to take the stick apart and pop them out from underneath. It's not too tough... Half an hour and a few screwdrivers and you'll be fine.

You're too honest for your own good, man. :blush:

I did get a bit lucky, your Ken was really quite scary at times - I ate a lot of SRKs and you usually caught me with that overhead. Anyway, while I'm far from the best person to give some advice, I'd say just calm it down a bit. Block more, push buttons less, and try to play reactive rather than throwing stuff out. That's the first thing that goes out of the window for me when I'm losing.

Watching the Super Turbo archive from evo. It's been pretty excellent. Especially

Draw game, and Kusumondo baiting out a resonse from Mao's Vega with a light headbutt when the chip would have ended it for either or them

Also, I didn't know about selecting 'old' versions of the characters in Super Turbo... I thought that was just an Anniversary Edition thing.

Just finished it

What a final; full bracket reset, final round of the final match stuff. I never wanna hear that Vega yodel ever again

I like Dan :) I just wish he was in SFxT then I could have my ultimate team of Yoshi and Dan, how awesome would that be. Well the team would be awesome but I'd still be rubbish :)

The best thing about the ST finals was Ultradavid being a complete goon on commentary and spending ages explaining loads of wild and intricate setups and bugs and glitches and all the other stuff which just came out of ST being a complete broken mess, on a code level. That game is insane.

Also, assuming we play HiPS at my place, I have a few secret techniques which I think work only on my television, and are totally overpowered and unbalanced.
