I watched a couple of hours earlier, some really good stuff on show including some incredible new Dudley tech. I came in to post it at the time then spotted the end of the URL on alistarr's link above and realised it was the same thing. Amazing scenes.

There's a Kickstarter campaign for Divekick starting tomorrow. XBLA release probably wildly optimistic but if they could sneak that out as an indie game I would definitely buy it and play it at least as much as I have SkullGirls and VF5.

It doesn't show up on Kickstarter until tomorrow but I saw it on Twitter the other day. Searching again I found this:

https://twitter.com/...513672962281473

PC only, but not surprising I suppose. Also you only need two buttons so I'm still in.

I just meant using thunderbolt at all really, don't think I've ever seen it used then this shifty looking character starts busting it out twice a round and everybody getting caught by it for a time. I didn't realise it was crossing up, I actually thought it was hitting overhead when they were blocking low.

I noticed there was yet more Makoto tech online where she can perform her normal axe kick at the end of her jump arc just like she can with her EX one. It looked like all you do it the quarter circle back motion then plink the kicks? Not had a chance to try it yet, but it seems pretty useful.

I think she's wildly dangerous. Not third strike Makoto dangerous, but still wildly dangerous. Anyone good at hit confirms with a handfull of mixups will destroy me with her. She's a whole load of fun to use as well, everything is just so satisfying.

Also, reading a bit about Smash Bros rumours and Namco's involvement I saw someone mention an old 1994 Namco arcade game called The Outfoxies which, alongside having an excellent name, looks to play a fair bit like Smash Bros. The video I saw on youtube said that it has no sound via MAME though.

I now expect a couple of posts from Camel and JLM talking about how they play it all the time.

I've just realised I'm at silverstone this weekend.

I'll probably get back on the Sunday all sleep deprived and still streaming from hayfever. So I'll probably be able to stay up up until just before top 8, then fall asleep.

Anyway - puns!

Why can't I do any Tatsu loops with Sakura, lads? The only thing I sometimes do is cr.lk, cr.lp, cr.hp x HK.Tatsu, st.lk x EX.Tatsu. I'm not even sure if that was working. What should I be doing?

Also, jumping down+hp is a wildly ambiguous non crossup. I've been catching out good players mixing that up with the mk. Oh man.

Lead game designer, too, which is quite the step up from community dude.

He was Special Combat Advisor or something on the SF4 development team, in addition to being community dude thereafter!

Rainbow Mika Hakkinen. Could also have Mika Hakanen.

Also, Jellum is currently on tour using various foreign internets at various locations. As such, he might be able to play against folks he can't normally play against for a limited time only. Let's do this thing Joffles, Haggles, Quazzles, JoePluzzles etc.

Wherever JLM goes, he announces the name of the place like the guy in the map screen on SF2.

SALFORD!

MILTON KEYNES!

I used to love when work set me down in Salford because the hotel was walking distance from Jenny's in manchester, so I'd go get beaten up by talented men at 3rd Strike.

Milton Keynes is a happening place I'll have you know

"jumping up and down and blowing whistles" now that is a rad place.

I also has a concrete dinosaur, oh yes MK is the place to be.

Also Sir Cliff likes the shopping centre
