I might actually upload the Nate Dogg TKO RIMZ fights.

Phenomenal disrespect shown by Nate. It was gold - I'll see if I can cut in the messages that were sent too.

I, on the other hand, couldn't get a fucking light kick out let alone a fucking taunt.

Disrespect? I taunted the bobbins out of his Viper at the start because I was getting annoyed with all the feints, and there was one DIRTY walkup Ultra on his wakeup that somehow managed to tag him even though he'd burning kicked over my head or something, but apart from that I thought the matches were played in a good spirit. Nice that he moved around the cast a lot and got in with the taunts too.

Yeah he was great with the taunts! The best I could do was drop a taunt when he missed a combo - that was all I had!

He actually said I was 'a real gent'. Which is odd because he'd been in the pub all afternoon and I was playing Third Strike and I'd just rolled a rather fat jazz-smoke which swiftly knocked him on his arse and I felt a bit bad afterwards. I bet he had awesome fun with More Than A Feeling when he got home though.

Yun's such a smug prick in 3S; he's definitely up there with Ken in terms of arrogance. I imagine that when they're not streetfightin' they're acting as each others wingmen when they're out hitting on every lady in the tournament (except for Juri; none of the characters seem to be into that kind of shit).

Or maybe they just bum each other. I don't know.

Juri seems like the kind of girl who likes to bind a man in tight copper wire and pass a current through it. Zangief would be into that, if Hakan was flipping the switch.

I wonder if Shin Akuma and Bawbag Ryu will make an appearance in AE before MvC3's release? It'd have to either be before, or a while after. Does anyone know how long it was before they unlocked Akuma as a boss in Vanilla arcade?

Damn, watching that Yun video I've twigged at how useful the dive kick could be for playing against certain shotos; if it shortens the length of a jump then it could allow for a new way out of those jump-over-fireball-and-get-hit-by-dragon-punch calamities I often get myself into... :P

Damn, watching that Yun video I've twigged at how useful the dive kick could be for playing against certain shotos; if it shortens the length of a jump then it could allow for a new way out of those jump-over-fireball-and-get-hit-by-dragon-punch calamities I often get myself into... :P

Like Cammy's cannon strike? The timing is awkward but it works nicely like that.

If I found myself in a Russian gulag scenario where the sadistic guards forced me to bum one the male characters from Street Fighter for their demented pleasure it probably would be Ken. Not just because of his pretty hair, I also think he would approach the situation in the same manner as I would, just get it over with and never talk about it again.

Dhalsim was an option because of the extra anal space and general zen attitude but I imagine he'd be vegan so his ass pipe would stink like old puke. In addition his ring piece, given the state of rest of his body, would probably be all a bit stretchy and prehensile and might kind of reach out to accept your bell like a horses lips stretch out to snaffle a sugar lump. Mentally I think that image would be hard to scrub.

I also considered Dan, but I suspect he might see it as a transitional point in our relationship and rather than being repulsed by the traumatic associations of seeing me, as I would be with him, he would feel that, because we had experienced it together, it had brought us closer. I imagine he might come over to me in the yard whilst I was trying to secure snout from an ex-spetnaz russian mafia type and be all like "Hey Carlito, I think we need to talk about this" and I'd be like "Dan, I'm kind of in the middle of something here" and he'd be all "The longer you keep it bottled up inside the worse it's going to get" and then I'd look him in the eye and be like "Seriously Dan, another time" and he'd go "It's not a crime to admit you have feelings you know" and now he's basically forced my hand because unless I do something I'm going to lose face in front of Ivan so I turn around and I'm like "DON'T FUCKING TALK TO ME YOU FUCK. I'M NOT YOUR FUCKING FRIEND. I DON'T GIVE A FUCK WHAT YOU FEEL. WHY DON'T YOU GO AND HANG OUT IN THE SHOWER AND SEE IF THERES SOME DICK TO SUCK BEFORE I BREAK YOUR FACE SO BAD EVEN BLIND DYMITRI WONT TOUCH YOU". Dan would try to act brave and would hold his chin up high as he looked at me, but his face would flush and his eyes would probably tear. Ivan would be impressed, but inside I'd be disgusted at the monster I had become.

Ryu would be option as I imagine he would stoic throughout, but it would be the stuff going on inside that would be a real worry. I could imagine the night after his internal monologue being something like "He fucked me does that makes me gay? Did I enjoy it? No. Wait, maybe I did enjoy it. Felt special. Maybe I am gay? NO. NO GAYS IN SHOTOKAN JUST LIKE UNCLE GOUKEN SAYS. Shh. It's a secret. Yes, I can keep a secret Uncle Gouken. A special night time secret. A grown up secret for grown ups that if I ever tell everyone they will feed Sakura to electric bears. ARRGGHHH. Need to get back to my cave. Need to practice my hadoken. Hadoken. HADOKEN. nnnggghhhh. HADOKEN. HADOKEN. MAKE IT GO AWAY." They'd find him hanging from his gi the next morning. Despite knowing it wasn't directly my fault, I'd still feel his blood was on my hands - maybe I should have said something to him. What could I have said though?

Doesn't bear thinking about really.

don't wait for AE, just get involved in Team Rufus. when you get tired of dive kicking you can also snake strike over fireballs to build muchos meters.

I've seen this sort of thing before. Sure, it starts off innocently enough, with the occasional abrupt post such as the one above that comes out of nowhere. But then, before you know it, there's modrequests for an erotic fan-fiction sub-forum, animated avatars, rules on roleplay posting guidelines and invitation-only tuesday night forum meet-ups.

It's a slippery slope.
