Oh, and everyone needs to watch Indie Game The Movie.

I am interested in this but am too poor an indie dev to afford. Profound ironing.

On the plus side I think I totally got points in an interview today by talking about the engine problems within Sf x T! I'll afford you yet BlowFish!

I fired this up for the first time in a few weeks whilst I was waiting for the fussball to start. No one else was playing so I went into ranked looking for similar skilled players and I got matched to someone with a similar PP but he was playing a B ranked Gouken :(

The first round I got mullered, baring in mind I haven't played for a little while and I he the skills of a frog and forgot my pressure options, when I started to get going my execution let me down so I got roundly punched. The next round I still was spacing right, but then it dawned on me he wasn't dp'ing. Hmm so I managed to win the second round and the third was going ok and pressure was better with a comical fail at an RSF (I think that was in the third) and it went down close to the wire I went for a final gamble at pressure and he ultra'd....... the result

Fingers - same as imp and joffry. I used to be able to rest the top of my palm on 3xK in the arcades for TAP fun / frolics with ST Rog, can't really pull it off these days without suffering from cramps though.

Ggs last night too - I picked Guy and suddenly realised I didn't know what I was doing, let alone what his moves were. I did tag joe with a couple of tatsus though, so that was alright.

That throw-off with haggar was best though.

No worries, have absolutely no idea with other characters, I just try the regular motions and see what comes out :)

And ggs to you chaps, even if you where mean to my Elf :)

Curtis slung me a game invite for SFxT but I was already with you guys, sorry Curtis. The only night I get two invites at the same time bah.

I'm never ever setting that lobby title again.

Some utterly epic roseball, mind.

Also I absolutely could not get siberian blizzard out, at all, I missed it like 3 times when I shoulda gotten yous.

Also ggs to plopboy who ran random select. good man.

You whipped out a Blizzard when I backdashed too and that didn't get me either. Guile is broken.

Tonight's Roseball was mesmerising at points. Well done us.

Alternatively, "Ryu pauses, torn between feelings of hostility for his nemesis, Akuma, and pity for this once fierce warrior, diminished by the wasting disease that has reduced his once impressive frame to that of a withered beggar"

Stream stuff...

AE top 8 at NWM was decent, though nothing especially hype. John Choi vs Hsien Chang was hilarious though. In the second game John Choi started throwing fierce shoryukens and refused to stop. It was quite magnificent. By game three he was in Hsien Chang's head, and the last exchange of the game saw Hsien start a block string, then back dash to bait yet another uppercut from Choi, but Choi killed him with an EX fireball to catch the back dash instead because he just knows. Seriously, someone organise a Choi/Valle/Daigo/Laugh/Air/XSK Samurai/Jyobin/Dakou 8 man all Ryu tournament for me please. Other than that, Ricky's Rufus is as terrifying as ever, Iperu should make some noise at Evo this year and thankfully Justin wasn't there so we didn't get another Rufus mirrors grand final.

Marvel at NWM was the Filipino Champ show. The form he's in at the moment he has to be a favourite for Evo this year. He has the best Dark Phoenix, the best regular Phoenix, one of the best Magnetos and you could only feasibly argue that Marlinpie has a better Dr. Doom. His Dormammu is still a monster too even though he doesn't use him so often any more.

Now on to ECT, which sounds like it was excellent, particularly the Marvel.

Also CEO is this weekend, with Daigo, Momochi, Gamerbee and Mago in attendance amongst others. The Daigo's greatest rematches exhibition should be a lot of fun, though it saddens me that Valle hasn't been listed as one of his opponents for it because their SoCal regionals match was the greatest thing. Still, he's playing Arturo, FChamp, Ricky Ortiz, PR Rog, Justin Wong and Latif, so there should be some fantastic matches there.
