I wish it were Dudley, I truly do. I just don't have consistent enough execution to main Dudley, even though he's the character I'd most like to be good with. It's not that his combos are impossible, but that in a lot of his match ups you can't afford to drop any of them. If you're not 90% consistent in converting every hit into significant damage then it's like playing 'gief and not being able to SPD.

GGs to Jiro! I felt bad because I'd just found someone on same skill ranked who was up for a lobby and I deserted him, but after much Cody fun and an amazing double KO*, I didn't regret it. :P

*we were both jabbing, it was so trash

You really do like Final Fight don't you.

It makes sense though, excellent normals game, mind games out the arse, amazing Magneto st.LP anti-air, spinning kick GTFO me move with EX meter. Oh my. Oh guy.

I was close with Gen, well they both start with G :) I tried Guy once in ranked but it didn't end too well, but then again it never does :P

What I liked about Guy is his lack of DP motions which is really helpful when your execution sucks as bad as mine.

I picked him up because he was my weakest character out of the entire roster (just edging out Viper, Sagat and Ibuki) and I thought it'd be a fun challenge. Also, of those four, I don't like Viper (nor do I have the execution), I've never been interested in learning Sagat and I think the Ibuki vortex is pretty dumb, so I'd have to be Sako-esque to enjoy playing her. So Guy won, and it's turned out to be a good fit and i've progressed a lot faster than expected. I'm still going to practise Chun and try to shake off the horrible, horrible rust in time for Heggfest though. As hard as I'm grinding with Guy I'm not sure he'll be up to scratch by then.

I have gathered enough Guy tech that I could probably write a guide on him at this point, but I'll at least try to keep some of my shenanigans a secret after failing to resist showing him off in lobbies and making my secret character very un-secret.

Is everyone picking a secret character that they Don-a-tell-no one about for Hedgefist then?

Also in science query news: Jelly doesn't guy's flippy jump let you grab standers a la Akuma/Gouken or is it air only? I am sure that was part of the RIMZ terror mixup.

I hate fighting against Guy. Along with Gen, and Ibuki, it feels like you're playing a different game. I don't know what to do, I panic, and I lose.

What with that, and all my time being spent on MP3 at the moment, things do not bode well for my chances. Shall we also play shoot-em-ups?

Carlito - pick a new character now and level him up!
