14th? 28th is first weekend of olympics so shit will be pretty whack re transport. Late June is maybe too soon? Mid August too far? Also I think this year I might book the Friday off so that people can drop by early (if anyone wants putting up at mine) and we can sit indoors and be dour or something.

Also yes guggs jiro. Sorry about my incredibly down backy balrog. I still can't quite get the timing on his links down so my game with him largely revolves around pummelling the sweep button. How many times did you ultra my wildly telegraphed ex dash punches, haha.

Joeplus - I think you inspired me to try Cody cos he called out to me from the select screen last night. I haven't spent much time with him till now but he seems like more fun than that dullard Bison. Went back through his trials, all pretty easy except 24 with the 2 fadcs in it - gave up on that and went and played Haggar instead.

Joeplus - I think you inspired me to try Cody cos he called out to me from the select screen last night. I haven't spent much time with him till now but he seems like more fun than that dullard Bison. Went back through his trials, all pretty easy except 24 with the 2 fadcs in it - gave up on that and went and played Haggar instead.

Yeah, I get frustrated playing him but lots of his stuff is mad fun.

Online mans are too clever for wake-up Bingo but often fall for it if you just throw it out at close range

I can do HK Ruffian FADC Ultra 1 in training, but only ever the first time I try it

Since I have a security card at work which basically lets me get into the building and go to the toilet I thought I would get a jazzy lanyard (string thing that goes round your neck, it was a new word for me). Anyway after a bit of hunting I managed to order these which popped through the door this morning :)

Now everyone I work with will know I play a childs toy in my spare time, Streeeeet Fighhhhhter.

I'd love to come on the 14th but you will probably be spared my sub standard play due to family commitments.

14th of WHAT? You do realise if you're talking about July then that's the weekend directly after the one where we all stay up all night on Sunday and then go to work all week anyway?

I can just about manage that weekend if our glorious host thinks it's the right one, but I'd kind of prefer August or September some time. Maybe we could do both.

Here's a fun cody thing you might like to do. After you have conditioned people to expect you to try to throw them or whatever on their wakeup, try an empty jump into ex bingo. It seems to work really well, and beats almost any button they might push.

Doesn't beat crouch-techers! I still love walking up to cocky Cody players on wakeup and doing the old cr.lk tick throw to stuff the wakeup Zonk. They're usually too busy mashing MP+MK for FADC to tech anything.

Works a lot less often these days, admittedly.

If you want august then the weekends of 18th/25th are the only non-olympic ones.

However if any of the more londonny people want to do something before then that would be cool. Maybe not at hegg's if that's asking too much, but I'm sure we could find somewhere with a few tv's for us to fat about in.

I got them from here, postage was a bit steep to the UK which is why I ordered two as the P&P was the same price if I ordered two or one.

Is there a link hiding in there somewhere sir? Because I really, really want both of those lanyards. I want to stand at the shared printer for extended periods hoping someone notices it.

My summer IS Heggfest. I missed out last time, that won't happen again.

Also on a Americana/BBQ tip, definitely check out Pit Cue Co opened a couple of months ago just off Carnaby Street - the pulled pork is off the chart and the pickleback shot is mandatory (sippin' whisky and pickle vinegar). You need to queue to get in. Turn up about 20 mins before it opens and you'll be grand.

It will blow your jizzy tits off.
