Speaking of Nate, I wonder why there was never a reissue of Terror Twilight. I guess they don't have the same volume of b-sides and rarities from that era? Nah... Well, I'd like to hear some live stuff from that era. Man.

It was announced in 2010 I think, but I guess the Best Of and the reunion tour got in the way of it and they're too busy swimming in cash to be that worried about it.

I just looked on Wikipedia and my god, Jonny Greenwood played harmonica on Billie and Platform Blues. Blimey.

Yeah. What?!

I read that thing about Spiral Stairs going mental on stage during that 2010 tour. IIRC you had tickets to see them at the Brixton Academy or something right? And I was on holiday and cried into the world's tiniest violin. Did that happen? Or was it after dates started getting canceled into EX Burnout. Was it good?

Haha, I just rediscovered trial mode and mangled my fingers beating Juri 24, which I'd never managed before. How you like that, alistarr of six months ago?!

97.26% complete, but I haven't finished Viper or Fuerte yet, so I'm probably still a lost cause.

ggs to the Mayor and Qazi tonight not sure why it went laggy but that is the mysteries of the internet I suppose.

I enjoyed the random select even if I didn't have a clue about anyone I was playing apart from the some basics, though how could the random select choose Akuma and Oni for me I just feel dirty and used now :P

Mr Mayor sir your Vega is very nice and Qazi's Juri gave me a good beating :)

Hello, yes, ggs quazi and plopi. The internet being shit is usually me, it's kind of a flaky connection my end, maybe due to shit router/wireless/being in a block of flats.

Random select is always good to learn new mans with, but whenever i get gen/fuerte/viper i forget everything. I'm getting a bit better with them with time, at least.

Oh, and I was quite please I managed to ultra your elf run, despite all the lag.

Apologies for the ryu dryness at the beginning, but i'm enjoying him more than i should. It's quite satisfying working out his ranges and zoning people accordingly.

I can do Akuma's normal - > teleport cancel - > ultra 2 consistently on player 2 side but I'm wildly inconsistent on player 1 side. I can do Dudley's B'n'B combo consistently on player 1 side but I'm wildly inconsistent on player 2 side. With my secret character I can do a particular combo into ultra consistently on player 1 side but almost never on player 2 side. Lastly, with Fei Long I can use Chicken Wing properly on player 1 side, but have to really pause and think about my inputs on player 2 side. If I try to do it fast on reaction to something I get a flame kick instead.

I feel like I need something better than hands to play this game.

Yes, or maybe just more hands. I know the execution in this game isn't that bad compared to some. It's so annoying looking at inputs in training mode and seeing the same mistakes always being made. How the hell broly plays at such a high level using his face is absolutely beyond me, though chun isn't exactly viper in terms of execution I suppose. Bizarrely, though, playing sfxt for a bit seems to have really helped my execution, somehow.

What even is dudley's bnb, anyway?

cr. jab - > cr. jab - > standing roundhouse - > EX MGB (Insert regular MGB, uppercut or ducking upper/straight if no meter).. The jab to roundhouse link is really easy but I find that I don't get the cancel into MGB consistently on player 2 side at all. I think I actually do it too fast because I don't trust my P2 side execution as much, so some of the motion is lost before I link the roundhouse and therefore it doesn't come out. The other big sign of a Dudley dropping this is if they do cr. jab - > cr. jab - > sweep, again because they've started the EX MGB motion before linking the roundhouse. It's annoying with any link combo where you do the supposedly harder part every time and then drop the easiest bit.

EX MGB gives you big damage and stun from juggles and quite often gives you the corner, so more often than not if you have the meter it's the right call. Either way, Dudley's bn'b is cr. jab - > cr. jab - > standing roundhouse - > special move. You can link the jabs from his overhead, from towards + MK or from crouching LK.

Learning to consistently link cr. lk into cr. jab is also essential to learning Dudley so you have a really threatening high/low mix up.

I realised that your post was to do with my typo shortly after starting this reply, but I finished it anyway because I'm a professional.

Maths & science eh. Optimising combos for scaling. Option selects based on probability of the opponent's actions. Meter & Hotel management.

Well. I'm an artist. I paint my K.O.s with glorious blazing shoryukens, having conditioned you to think I'm going for a tick throw after a blockstring. That's right. I read my opponents. Street Fighter is my genre of choice, and every player is a poet. Some are easier to figure out than others, and I'm Dr Johnson, ravenously consuming all, critiquing, and above all, lacking in my own work compared to my peers.
