I think the worst thing about last night was that I actually quite liked playing ryu. I've always stayed away from shotos in this game due to ovious, but I might actually mess about with him some more over the next few weeks. Having an uppercut makes wakeup so much nicer.

Sounds like a fun Idea but I'd have to sit it out. To be frank I already play all the characters I'm interested in playing. Also, I don't really want to spend what little time I have, already divided between SFXT, Dark Souls and this, learning a new character.

Usually done in the corner so you get ex tatsu into ultra. Can also do it on wakeup to punish crouch techs.

Back on-topic, should I buy Fez? I've been ignoring it and until I read a wikipedia article just now knew nothing about it other than people banging on about how great it is.

Also, I played the Saturn version of Waku Waku 7 last night and my god, it's horrible. Treacle city. There's an ace PS2 version though on the Sunsoft Collection.

Fez is pretty good. I came to it a bit late and felt a bit sad that I'd missed out on it while everyone was theorizin' and stuff to help each other solve these crazy valve-ARG style puzzles that are layered into the endgame. It was still cool to read later, but would have been amazing to be part of when the breakthroughs were happening.

Ha, in that match you appeared to spend about a round and a half trying to set me up for anti-air jab DP into air demon. I noted this, made a conscious effort to avoid it and then got killed by it anyway.

Yes he is tremendous fun. He's got so many options that you can get by using just a few, which is good if your execution is as ass as mine is. Plus I know Jason hates the 50/50 divekick mixup and anything that gives me a bit of a leg up against that magnificent bastard is definitely A Good Thing.
