Did anyone else see infiltration's gouken utterly blow up PR Rog in the losers finals of NorCal last night? Seems like such a bad match for 'Rog if the gouken knows his spacing and has utterly amazing reactions. Grand finals was also good, but ugh ex jesus kick is so stupid sometimes.

I will watch the sfxt footage tonight. I am much interested to see chrisG's hworang/xiaoyou team in action. Also combofiend's julia, since I'm considering learning her next.

Could you please spoilerise any further NCR stuff as I haven't got round to watching it yet. I didn't ask beforehand so I won't call you a wab or anything, but watching the rest unspoiled would still be grand. Thanking you kindly.

Oh, shit, yes sorry. That and grand finals was about all I saw of it really, bar some random pools stuff the day before. There was an utterly excellent match between mr naps' evil ryu and latif in one of the pools, which you should absolutely try and track down if possible.

I saw a comment someone who was there saying that apparently loads of people were leaving during sfxt top 8 due to the number of timeouts and the fact that the gameplay was basically lame city.

I love Mr. Naps. That sounds excellent. I imagine I'll end up trawling through the entire archive like I usually do. For final Round that took a long long time but there was some amazing stuff in pools that I'm glad I caught. Kusoru vs FChamp in Marvel on day 1 was better than anything on finals day.

My current stats for SFxT are hilarious, it's something like

Super finishes - 7

Pandora finishes - 3

cross assault finishes - 1

cross art finishes - 8

Time out wins - 85

I will be working through NCR tonight. I actually watched a lot of pools live on Saturday night as the missus was out for dinner, then I made a big pile of nachos and passed out in a fat guacamole coma for like two hours until she came home. What a way to spend a Saturday night.

Hello me again just thought I would bump the thread with some more of my tardy Elf shenanigans. Had a couple of matches today but this one has an interesting end, if you watch until the end of the second round the poor old Yang player does a wake up ultra but I'm already committed to some jab mashing. The result catches us both out

I still find myself dominating at least one round per match but the others just get lost in my bad execution and/or decision making. In one match I managed to stun an Weevil Ryu but went blank, I panicked and only managed a LK as a punish :doh:

I'm still enjoying Elf, he just is really fun to play, hard but rewarding. I think Dan was my gateway character into the lower tier :)

Which version did you choose? If you wanted vanilla you had to choose between Xbox 360, Xbox Live, PS3, PC, Steam, Xbox Live (again), Arcade Games, Xfire, iPhone, collectors edition.

If you wanted Super, you had the same choices plus the 3DS.

If you wanted AE then there were only a few to choose from. 2012 edition wasn't recognised.

With it being this segregated, I don't think it's going to make the top 10...

Edit: Christ on a bike what happened to the font size there, it went tiny! Fixed now.

I love a burrito. I like when Mac gets fat on chimichangas out of a bin bag in It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. I also like when they Extreme Home Makeover the mexican family's house and make the girl a taco shaped yellow bed with green lettuce sheets, a tomato pillow and give her brown pyjamas so she can be the meat.

I love IASIP. Don't get to watch it often but I've got the lot sat happily on my hard drive for when those magical moments drop. I like to sway to the title music. I'm swaying now just thinking about it.
