I think I'm pretty much the only person in this thread that is a genuine tier whore, and now all my characters are B tier. So, let's all aim for solid B characters in SFxT, and we'll all be laughing this time in four years.

EDIT: I reckon Ryu is going to get nerfed for sure. He's supposed to be middle/high middle of the pack in each game right? Lili looked really strong after her initial reveal, but no-one seems interested now, so maybe she's been already nerfed between builds. Hopefully this means she's going to get rebuffed in the future. I'm using her anyway. Rolento looks like he's got waaay too much free pressure off of his rekkas and standing LP. He's going down as sure as Yang did.

I know not everyone likes CC Asia, but I do, so here's their new one anyway:

I love the intro, and also Xian's recent trend towards a slight cocky swagger counterbalanced neatly by his usual politeness and humility. He is like the anti-Mike Ross in terms of calling out something awesome he's about to do and then genuinely delivering it. Mike's "Checkthisout" and inevitable fail is still amazing of course, but I like Xian's "I'm gonna do something fannacy" followed by something very fannacy too.

CC Asia has improved loads since the debut, and it's worth watching just for Xian's insane beatdowns. :)

I kind of miss playing SF4, but this thread is providing more than enough distraction, and hopefully I'll be back shortly...

Jijis everyone. Donut Bison terrifying as always, definitely my least favourite thing to play against. MacMantis, that Ibuki is no joke, I had no idea what to do there.

Nimble little Minx isn't she? Truth be told I'm still trying to feel out a 'set' of characters. Ibuki is definitely on the short list.

Thems were some fun games lads. Having not played for 2 weeks my execution was utter shit, though, along with general rust.

I caught macmantis with what was meant to be a cr.mp into spiral into super, but somehow got cr.mp cancelled into soul throw, which worked well since he was holding jump and thus I looked a genuis, despite actually being a spazzhands.

Jiro our connections totally confuse me. Everything goes fine, then utterly insane lag for 15 seconds, then fine again. Wild.

Yeah my connection in that lobby fluctuated wildly but then I never seem to get a solid connection vs. you or imp, it's weird - don't think it's geographical. My NAT's chuff is wide open and I usually get a pretty decent connection so I blame yous. Sorry about the first game, had to do real stuff and try and fight at the same time. Didn't make much odds to my rubbish Sakura.

When I plus vote a post on my phone it refreshes the whole page, which on my phone takes about five minutes. I just wanted to share that with you all so you'd know how much I appreciated joe's "1 frame islinkton" and jason's "dhc directly to hail". Loads of the others are awesome too.

Jason, I get internet back tomorrow if all goes well. I haven't played a videogame in over a week. Could be an opportunity to score a second victory on the trot in marvel. That said, I've been theory fighting a bit, so who knows.

This thread is the only bit of the internet I've read since saturday. If since then something terrible has happened (eg new hawkeye tech), break it to me gently.

I had a chance encounter with Rotarrius' Adon in ranked as Honda last night. Teh first round was mega tense, got us both down to zero health and full screen away from each other. I waited for a jaguar tooth to headbutt and he did the best thing; taunted to bait me out, then cancelled the taunt with Ultra, catching my headbutt clean. Haha, it was beautiful.

Stuck with Honda for most of the night. Getting a fair bit more consistent with jab x hands, but still panic when it's a punish.

Yeah, I noticed I had started lagging up the place, I think one of my flatmates must have been streaming in bed, so I took off. Also, after I managed to do all that reset nonsense with Abel, I wasn't going to top that performance so it was a good time to quit anyway.
