2 and 2 today. Won 2 lost 1 with Hawk, lost to Whaigo using Chun. Other loss was Infexious, so nothing to be ashamed of. Crazy stacked tournament though. Ryan Hart, problem x, Tyrant, Gunslinga, Whaigo, profluke, Strider, Fuzzy, wywywywy, Shinji, Bigfool etc. etc. All killers!

Hey guys it's evo THIS WEEKEND!!

I hope everyone is excited. Imp's coming to visit so we can say hi and then sit in the same room staring vacantly at a twitch broadcast for three days. JLM is also coming over on Sunday, but he says Marvel is dead so he's not even watching the Saturday stuff. I might try and make him play Marvel 2 at some point.

I'm going to try and meet up with some f the Liverpool lot to monster streams.

Should have really planned ahead and booked monday off work.

Marvel is dead though, barring some ridiculous KBR run. I wish Smash was on a different day*, its a massive block of no fun.

*not at Evo at all tbh.

I love Smash Bros but for some reason I can't get too into watching it played competitively. No idea why. I'll probably still watch it though since Nintendo are officially sponsoring this one which makes me think there might be an announcement for the 3DS/Wii U games. Either that or it's just to make amends for the absolute shambles they made over their attitude to the last one.

Fully excited for the King of Fighters XIII finals though. So much aggression in that game. Some combos can be a pretty overlong to the point of being absurd but otherwise it's just beautiful to see played well.

Yeah, I'm all over the Tekken at the moment, and Injustice can be pretty hype (although last year it was horrible).

I'll find something else to do during Smash, I find it utterly unwatchable.

Had some lovely games against Iggie earlier; I let him know that I'd noticed him trying to jump out of the corner at the same point and once he stopped doing that I'd inevitable make the mistake of cornering myself instead, haha.

Also, I'm now the sixth Dan on XBL, just behind Ixion (he's back from using Guile, who is the absolute opposite of Dan).

I've also a homemade thing for the PS3, with a JLF, a Cthulhu board and 24-mil Seimitsu buttons (Namco PS1 layout).

Hello. Remember this excellent man giving this stick away? I very gratefully received it a few months ago and have been happily using it ever since. It's really good - not "really good for the price" either!

Then I saw that Madcatz were doing whatever the current version of the TE stick is called for forty quid, so I bought one of those. As a result I'm letting Escaped's old stick go to a new home. Same deal as last time - cover postage and it's yours.
