GGs Alistarr and Donut! Sorry for the lag, my flatmate was streaming the football, he tells me.

Here are some cool things I landed which I'm fairly proud of. The last one isn't really much of a trick but the link looks so crispy I can't resist posting it.

So, earlier this evening, before my dalliance with imstilldadaddy, I played a chap called II Enix II, who I'm sure I've played before in the distant past without incident. Tonight however, I received my first ever verbal rage mail. After playing our match, he felt the need to put on his headset and tell me "Oi, impo, you play Rolento like a cunt. LIKE A CUNT!" Yes, he shouted that last sentence.

Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, I put it to you that my play is in fact perfectly gentlemanly.

May I present exhibit A:

Sorry I couldn't stay Donut, housemates and all that. I like your Poison, you're all "do you have an answer to this corner pressure?" and I'm like, "no". Also I learned wakeup Tatsu from Nate. Also your Makoto is still the scariest thing ever.

Earlier on ranked I managed my first match of understanding what was going on and making reads against one of the new characters (Decapre). It's not that impressive but I might still shakycam it at some point. Rose is back to C :)

Sirlin, of "Chess 2" fame and chief re-balancer of SFII HD Remix, has a Kickstarter up for Season 2 of Yomi, his 1v1 punch mans card game.

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/sirlin/yomi

I've played a bunch of the first season and really love it - the game does a lot to capture the feeling of playing a fighter and is all about mindgames and leaning to guess your opponent's next move.

You can get two decks (Grave and Jaina) as a print-and-play version for free from here, if you wanted to give it a go: http://www.sirlingames.com/collections/yomi

Could one of you kindly gentlemen please explain how to use the YouTube upload feature properly, please?

I attempted to use it, it played back the entire match once with "Rec" in top right. It immediately played it back at approx 20 frames per second with "Rec" again, but was taking sooo long and I was so unsure whether this was supposed to be happening I abandonded it. Is this supposed to happen? How long does it normally take? And how do you upload just a snippet or round?

Sorry. I often need things spelt out for me.

I tried it twice. Both times it played the match back at normal speed before playing it again at a speed far, far slower than 20 frames per second; it took 40 minutes to play out a 3 round match. Afterward the upload began, got to 2%, then failed. I've not heard of anyone successfully uploading from 360 yet.

Apparently the uploads from PS3 take around five minutes?

This is why I want Street Fighter on PS4.

Nice, will be on momentarily.

Also here is Gunslinga vs OMH from Top 8 of last month's SFO tournament:

Too many tatsus from Gunslinga; that stubbornness is a real double edged sword. However, my real reason for posting it is the outstanding read from OMH at 3:45. Psychic.

I encountered a secret Jellum in ranked earlier! Had a pretty close match against his T Hawk where he was punishing my st.mp whiffs and using Hawk's new cr.mk cancels to terrify me. I lost, of course.

THEN! Then I played what became a first to ten as Hugo against Iggy's Guile and lost 10-0. A very. very thorough 10-0 at that. No more cheeky EX Lariats going unpunished against that kid. Oooof. Plus, as a cherry on the cake, the very last round he won with a perfect! I'll have my reeeveeeeeenggeee!

Joffles that game was spectacular. I knew you were looking for a jump or condor dive at the end of the round you took but was still overcome with joy when you did EX backbreaker in the blink of an eye and killed me for it. Astounding. I was doing pass the stick ranked with the actual owner of the SFO Savant account. He had never used Hawk before on that profile, so I decided to use Tomas for the whole set. Ended up winning 30 out of 31, and Joffo you were by far the closest to giving me my second loss of the day. Given the amount of time and effort myself and Ghost have been putting in and the current form, I think I need to seriously consider using Tomas at the next offline tournament.

On that note, July is looking quite busy now. Have Warriors Return 3 in Manchester on the 5th of July, then SFO house sessions from the 7th onwards, then Evo, then an event at Hadoshrooms' house he calls Blaydon Races, where he runs a tournament and also has about 30 people staying at his house and camping in tents in his garden. Barbeque, side games, Marvel ice lollies, prizes and a title belt for the winner and all manner of other extra fun stuff he adds to make an event of it. He is also good pals with Desk, so I am holding out hope that he of the legendary hands will make an appearance. It's a good thing I already have festival plans for August as it looks like I will not be going outside nearly frequently enough next month.

OMH adapted really, really quickly to Slingas shenanagins there.

Yeah, I've been (trying to) go to bed early and wake up at 4 (and then inevitably again at 5 or later as Marvel is ALWAYS on) to catch top 8. You can probably even make it to work, if you don't need to leave the house before 8!
