Guys, I think I'm doing Ultra wrong. I downloaded Beyond Good & Evil HD on a whim and I've just been playing that instead. I am sorry.

I've been going in hard on MK8. I miss Joffo though, we need to be secretly teaming up in tournament races and alternating wins, like utter cunts.

JLM was all MK talk too, but I've not seen him on... and he hasn't accepted my friend request. I'm sad about it. I guess he's all pro and shit now, though. Living that rock and roll lifestyle.

I'll be back on Mario Kart! I ended up being hella social over the weekend then there was Ultra and e3... There's a lot of ego being thrown around in the Mario Kart thread, haha. It makes me uncomfortable playing online. Splatoon should be a fun game to be a team o' pals in too!

I'm gonna do some time trials and get the Staff Ghosts beaten. They're not particularly good times. Was it MK64 or F Zero where they had another, genuinely good Staff Ghost to tackle after you beat the first? I liked that.

I got beaten up online by Andygt's Decapre and Poison. It was good times. I also got some miserymail from a man who, it turns out, had misread SAIKYO! as USUCK! and apologised. Ha.

Yeah, heh. The ego stuff does make me chuckle though. Most of the good players don't seem too fussed, at least. Fatsam is excellent and he's using a wheel.

I remember getting beaten quite badly at MK Wii online by wheel players too. Oh, and MK Wii had expert staff ghosts, I'm pretty sure you're right about the other thing too. These tournament races are incredibly violent at the moment, it's lots of fun. Hooray.

I haven't really caught up with all the Nintendo E3 stuff yet. I saw the Digital Event, but I really need to check the Treehouse stuff. I'm pretty sure I'll want all of it. Splatoon looks excellent, Yoshi looks adorable, and a sequel to my favourite Kirby game too. Bastards.

Fraps is okay, sure. I don't do much capturing of livestreams, but when Atlus were doing their megaton stream of several Persona reveals I did some captures of the trailers using Fraps and Chrome. I think that only certain applications "recognise" Fraps (so that the FPS counter is in the corner when the application is open, for instance), but Chrome definitely supports it. If you can't get the stream on it's own in a standalone browser window, you could resize the browser window so that the stream is all that you see (but you may still have to use a video editor to crop out browser toolbars and the like.) Or if you have some other standalone application that runs streams that can support Fraps, then use that.
