Xian and Makoto spend some quality time in the lab. :)

EDIT: had a brief check through this thread before switching off for the night and forgot to mention it, but I enjoyed reading all of the recent Chun science from Jellum - so much awesomeness in the training notes. :D

I tried SF4 on my laptop again the other day and it was dreadful. I think I need to upload a software or whatever and see if that fixes it.

Either that or just send you an xbox live subscription!

JLM, that technique for Chun's legs combo is fantastic - I've been getting it pretty consistently since I started using it. It's taking some time getting used to the sliding technique but it is by far the most success I've ever had with the combo. :D It'll be forever until I can do it in a pressure-filled match, mind. But this is most pleasing.

I'm out drinking with my wife's work friends (my wife is here too, don't worry) and one of them just said her fiancée watches a lot of Street Fighter on youtube. I hadn't even mentioned Street Fighter yet. More on this as it develops.

Not my favourite Excellent Adventures episode.

Not enough exciting play and I say this as a layman and too much messing around with Makoto.

I'm watching a bit of it now:

DAT KNIFE. Excellent start.

And for me it's not really about the matches!

I really want to get back into the fighting street cul-de-sac, but I'm still addicted to Dark Souls and in particular Fashion Souls. I think a return or starting from scratch of the Saikyo master is in order, though that will be a long road as the Elf man has changed the way I play the game, not that I really could in the first place but he really isn't very Ryu.

Perhaps I should play Ryu, then again that is a silly idea, his taunts are awful.

Hugo compilation:

I was wondering if it was impossible to confirm a situational anti-air clap into backbreaker as none of the footage showed it, then right at the end the last guy does it every single time. Beautiful. Best bit of the whole thing for me was the super punish on Vega's wall dive from absolutely miles away. That Super into backbreaker looks like his most powerful tool by far. Punishes full screen moves, goes through fireballs and has easy hit confirm combo potential as well. Oh, and the damage is ludicrous obviously.

That was tremendous. Quite enjoying Zeus dicking around in training mode as well. At least two or three Vega things I've never seen before already. He knows all of the Vega things.

That tune's on Spotify, as is the entire Team Pie album. There are songs with names like Guard Crush and Enter Zeus. http://open.spotify.com/track/5B0GSd8El7Bwczzh62YQTn

Yooooo smug just used that Dudley set up that makes characters stand up facing the wrong way. Saw that in a tech video ages ago but found it impossible to recreate in training. I assumed top Dudley players had deemed it too impractical, but leave it to Smug to use it in tournament.
