The RRP for that is nowhere near £29.99. £12.99 is a fair price, but it's not cheap.

I do have a feeling that TK Maxx is going to really go to town on board games (etc.) for Christmas this year though. Definitely worth keeping an eye on.

They have had the odd item in before so I suspect you may be right. I got a 2 player Star Wars Destiny starter set from them for a nice price. They've had some DC card game in as well a few times. Definitely worth keeping an eye on...

That publisher one will probably cost as much in shipping :/

No, I bought my copy from them and it was $12 shipping. Not cheap, but not horrendous as they've got a UK fulfilment centre. The worst part was that they just sat on the order for a week, before sending it out; it came quickly after that though.

Restocked at Boardgame Guru if you were still looking.

Cheers for the heads up.  I was going to grab it until I saw the Shut Up and Sit Down review.  Ok, Quinns may be in the minority, but what he did say was enough to put me off for now at least.

EDIT: But now I'm watching a rules video, I kind of fancy it again....  Help!

And I've caved.  £50.98 delivered from Gameslore.

I think this may qualify as a bargain. I've been looking at Merv, designed by Fabio Lopiano with art and graphic design by Ian O'Toole and published by Osprey Games. The reviews are good, production is good and it has an excellent variant for 2 players and a well designed solo mode. Fabio previously designed Ragusa which is an excellent and very interesting worker placement game with a very limited numbers of workers.

The game is out this week and I nearly bought it at the full RRP of £50 from Osprey themselves but Blackwells have stock in for £33.82 and free delivery. I've ordered one.

Argos have the funkoverse games (Harry Potter, Jurassic Park and Game of Thrones) down to 16.99 just now, ordered JP, have the other two but I've yet to play them but the figures are nice decoration for the top of the kallax. They get good reviews across the board so I do need to get round to them just always something else to play.

The HP one may be good for some of you with kids!

They also have the Jaws one which I'd like but is way less of a deal as its 15.99 but only has two figures.

One of those children's games which is also a fantastic pallette cleanser or daft game at the end of the night. House rules: first to 9 wins. After you've won 3 you play one-handed, and after 6 you play one-handed with your non- hand.
