This is incorrect - there's plenty of stuff running at 1080p. Generally not AAA titles, mind.

What issues did you have with LP2? Just the usual MT Framework bullshit?

Well I guess the LIVE arcade titles and the like, but yeah as you say not the AAA's

Yeah, screen tearing was bloody awful in LP2 in 1080p, 720p sorts it. There have been a few other non-Capcom games that have similar issues being forced at 1080p.

I hated GTAIV. Really didn't get along with it at all. This one though is pushing all my buttons. Great characters, a nice plot that's ramping up gently. Visuals that while I'd love a PC version are really pushing current gen consoles.

When you take photos do they automatically upload to the social club? I'd check but they're having "Technical difficulties" :)

I think it's safe to say, regardless of PS3 or 360, it's at least great that you can buy on your platform of preference without any major worries :)

As for the game itself so far I'm really liking it. It's serious but quite light hearted and some of the dialogue is fantastic, especially Lamarr and Franklin together. Controls feel so much better than IV as well, I'm really enjoying the combat and the driving is very satisfying, especially from the hood cam. I changed the aiming from traditional GTA to Free Aim and it's much better as well, feels a bit like Max Payne 3. My only complaint so far is that the aiming reticule could be a bit bigger, sometimes I find it hard to see - even on the 'Complex' one. If they made that a bit easier to see and a bit bigger it would be perfect IMO.

Theres one teeny tiny fuckup with the design of this game.

When you do a mission, it grades you on how well you did it ( Silver.. Gold etc ) with the chance to replay it and do it better.

On the first playthrough, you should be able to get the missions done and dusted your way,

even if you do fuck it up a bit along the way! ie: the game should not judge you so much.

The chance to replay missions should come afterwards. Yes it should.

This game. :D

Just spent the last 20 mins trying find Franklin with Michael. Drove up to a corner where Franklin was last standing and accidentally pressed LB making Mike shoot out the car window cue people running in terror. Switched back to Franklin quickly and I could see just down the street the people running from the machine gun fire.

Finally meet up outside the barber shop and they have a nice little convo.

It does come afterwards, unless I'm misunderstanding you. You can replay any mission at any time.

More stories like this please.

I was randomly cruising the map, found myself going full speed along a train line, i see lights in the distance, oh shit! oncoming train, i bail out at the last second, fall down a 30 foot cliff, bumped & bruised but alive, i get up, check my surroundings, "growl", get eaten by a cougar.

Anyone been to the strippers?

Bought a drink at the bar then got offered a dance for $40, my wife was on the sofa reading a book as I was playing and looked up as the girl popped her bra off.

A cautionary glance over to see the reaction then, onto groping without getting caught by the bouncer. I wonder what she told people at her work...

Little tip: you can obviously switch camera view using the back/select button, but you can also do this when aiming to choose how close the 'over the shoulder' view is by default. Apparently this was in IV as well but I only just found out.

Starting to worry I won't have enough space on my 360 HD for the mandatory install.

I've got one of the bulky white ones, fuck knows how much space it has but i'm always deleting stuff off it to make room.

With this and the Northampton clown, my anxiety gland is going into overdrive.
