You say that, but with the purchase of Soul Music, I am a mere 3 books away from having a complete set of Discworld novels on my Kindle mostly bought for £1-2. Woo and cheers!

Siddhartha Mukherjee - The Song of the Cell: An Exploration of Medicine and the New Human is 99p

Only came out two months ago. Got about a quarter through so far, not as good as The Emperor of All Maladies or The Gene as it’s more disjointed but still worthwhile

It’s been on my wish list for a while, so I’m looking forward to reading it primarily because he writes with such honesty and love about his son.

If you can get through This article by Delaney then you may be able to get through the book. It’s a wonderful but heartbreaking piece of writing.

I've gone for Glue as I always enjoy Irvine Welsh and the Cunk one although with the latter based on the TV character I'll either love it or give up a few pages in. I bought the Rob Delaney book as I believe despite the cheapo price the author gets full whack? Like others though not sure I'll bring myself to read it, at least not at the moment with a three year old daughter.

It was 6, not 8. There were a few more that seemed interesting but I'm a slow reader and I don't want my backlog to become too big.

I really enjoy going through your list every time there's a new one and seeing what's there. I've already picked up many books this way that I'd otherwise probably never would've come across. So thanks again for taking the time to do this :hat: .

Mary Stewart's The Crystal Cave is in, too - while better known for her romances, this is the first part of a really good Arthurian trilogy. Well worth a punt at a quid.
