Great Circle by Maggie Shipstead is in the deal today . It's a dual timeline story of a young female pilot in the 30s and 40s, who disappears circumnavigating the globe (that's not a spoiler btw) and the young actor who is playing her in a big budget movie 70 years later.

It's very good indeed and worth a few quid of anyone's money . It will be a film itself before long I very much imagine.

This sounds excellent.

Added to the digital pile of shame.

Found a couple of others which I've already read, or interest me:

The Plantagenets - The Kings Who Made England by Dan Jones

Reckless by Chrissie Hynde

Star Wars; Darth Bane - Path of Destruction by Drew Karpyshyn

The First 3 books of Robert Fabbri's Vespasian series

There's also Margaret Thatcher's autobiography, but I think paperback is probably my preferred format - it'll burn better.

Was a big fan of how short and concise it was whilst still giving an extremely vivid sense of place, as Alexlotl said. Big contrast to the bloated Johnathan Strange.
