Hahaaa funny stuff & good ideas chaps.

Yes i think to help match reports watching the highlights is a must & also the template in phone is a good idea.

Im thinking it might help to ask your opponent for 10 min break between the 1st & 2nd game to give you time to watch highlights of first game and make notes.

I'm gonna take at least 10 mins between games I reckon. I want to record the goals on my phone since the EA method of saving/uploading is so shit.

Sounds stupid (and you feel stupid doing it), but if you have a phone with a voice memo feature, I finds that's the easiest way of recording any notes. Turn on the voice recorder and describe yourself some replays and general thoughts on the game.

With regards to the mic use, we're really trying to get people talking more - we feel like we've let people adopt a 'win-at-all costs' attitude to the detriment of the community and we're on a mission to eradicate it.

I'm the same, when I'm chatting I'm waaaay worse at the game than when I'm quiet and concentrating. We're not saying that you need to be orating like the town gossip after 3 glasses of Lambrini every single minute, but swapping hello's, how-are-you's and some chat about the game in the half-time interval would be a great start. Even an "Oooh, keeper!" after a good save makes a world of difference.

And as someone with the same problem I can promise you, sacrificing that 10% performance for some in-game-chat is far more rewarding than the one extra goal you might score.

Also, if you get in a party chat, you can tell your opponent you're just taking two mins to get all the stats and details down and get reminders from him about chances you may have forgotten.

To fill the gap in the Premiership left by GrahamDunn's departure, The Arbitration Panel has decided as their first act to promote PeteBrant from the Championship.

They wish to make it known that this decision was based on the quality of his match reports and his overall posting contribution last season.

Congratulations Pete! He will pick a new team from the remaining 4-star teams and Napoli (his current team) will be 'retired for this season.

His replacement will be announced shortly.

1v1 European Cup Qualification

As you all may or mayn't be aware, this season the European Cups have been sidelined, with just the one Cup competition (League Cup) taking place.

Next season however they will be back! And better the same than ever! The admin team for the 1v1 league thought it be beneficial if managers knew which league finishing positions will lead into which European cup next season.

I'll add my voice to the growing, cross-league support for sith's motion.

Practically, there's less of a need for it with our new downsized league, and, partly because of that, it's not actually making the cups that more competitive. Only two League One teams made it out of the first round of the cup this season, and that was only because they were playing other League One players; none made it to the 1/4 finals. Glancing back over past winners the only non-prem winner of anything since it was introduced is Wincho's Dortmund side, and he had me in the final. Forum, I don't need a handicap to lose a cup final.

And on principle it just lowers the overall quality of football in the league, which sucks. There's a level of play that's completely lost when you give the top players teams that can't pull off skills, run or pass the ball more than 15 yards.

Give the artisans the best tools. End this communist nonsense.

Indeed, a rousing speech from LJ. You can tell he's an English scholar (read nerd) but I also disagree with most of what he's presented.

Him, and Wincho, should be taken into the playground where we'll steel their lunch money, pelt them with conkers and then leave them with an atomic wedgey. It will be just like the old days for them.

For me it comes down to the fact that aside from 1v1 and BAP I rarely play FIFA so I'd like a chance to play with the big boys.

Whilst I voted in the same direction as you, I'm not sure how your lack of commitment to actually playing the game means that when you do, you should do so with the best team.

Manic and I play the game shit loads and when we do we always use the team we have in the league. Using your logic we should slum it in all our numerous games just so you can lord it up with 5 star on the odd time you need to play a league match

You make it very hard for people to get behind your suggestions when they are clearly so very selfish
