If anything is released on both PS3 and Vita, then it should have both Cross-Buy and Cross-Save as the norm, like you say. Cross-Save at the very least.

What has it so far?

Motorstorm RC

MLB 13 The Show

Sly 4

Hustle Kings?

Sound Shapes

Retro City Rampage

Anything else?

Alien Breed (PSN, not (as far as I know) PSMobile version) is cross-buy. Think it's cross-save too, but I'm pretty sure you get the trophies twice, weirdly.

Nice little package. New version turns it into a twin-stick shooter, which suits it really well, and you can still go back to the original if you want.

Knytt Underground, Big Sky Infinity, When Vikings Attack, Zen Pinball 2 and The Pinball Arcade are all Cross Buy too. Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault is supposed to be (and part of the reason I bought it at launch) but they haven't got the Vita version out yet.

Hotline Miami is the only future game that comes to mind, but I'm sure there are others.

Man, as soon as you unlock the level 4 versions of Added Crystals, Profit Crystals and Longer Frenzy in ToMB, it becomes kind of a joke. I hit 22 million last night and must have levelled up about 8 times in an hour.

Yup! Exhilarating isn't it?! I scored 229 million the other night. Had a massive smile on my face for ages due to beating Quexex's high score

Virtua Tennis 4 is only a fiver with free postage at Game just now. Been loving it since the thread steered me in its direction, it's got so much of That Sega Feeling which is, sadly, so rare these days.

Amazingly it looks like they were doing UMvsC for the same price but it's now out of stock :(

Well my Dead or Alive order with Amazon hasn't even been posted yet so another great example of customer service from them. Last time I preordered it took 4 days after release for the game to be dispatched and it arrived a week later. I don't think I'll ever use them again for a preorder.

Yay, welcome :D It's a great little machine and it's finally seeing a decent amount of games to enjoy, with more on the way. :)

Just back home from a holiday in Ghana, and my Vita really helped make the travelling bearable.

I was living in an apartment in the poorer part of the main city, Accra, and below us was a court yard where some local kids played. These kids had probably seen some TV, maybe a computer, but had never seen a videogame in their lives. I gave them a shot of my Vita running Frobisher Says, and then WipeOut. Their eyes completely popped out of their heads, it was like they'd been shown the future.

Virtue's Last Reward

Thomas Was Alone

Ladies and gentleman, this month on PS+

I need to work out how much I have saved with all these offerings for the Vita alone. I am willing to bet it has more than covered the cost of the system for me. Both in free games and discounts.

Glad you got it, such a wonderful device. I feel you should reward me for my advice with a 32gb card though ;):P

I'm probably mad but PS+ does very little for me and I can't see myself ever getting it. I guess I just like to have ownership over my games and I'm not very fond of digital downloads either. But then I am a retro gamer.

Yeah, we spoke about this before (when we were playing SSX). I get that from a collectors point of view, however my stance changed over the last 6-7 years and I found I wasn't going back to games I had played anymore. It was much more of a throwaway medium for me.

I am really hoping for a Netflix / Onlive style subscription for PS4 and PS+ as that would be a huge benefit to me. It makes risking new games, less of a risk. However if you are someone who loves having the physical media and the ability to go back any time you want. Then I can see how it isn't for you.

Awesome news about FFX / FFX-2. When I heard about the PS3 remakes I was thinking I'd never get time to play these on a big telly. Put me firmly in the 'everything should be on Vita' camp. Main reason I'm pre-ording a PS4 is because of the linkup play.

Oh, and Virtua Tennis very much ordered.

Oh, yeah. Don't get me wrong. I think it's a great service and it distinguishes the Sony systems against other systems. It also means you can buy a console at launch and chuck in a subscription to keep people happy for a few months and also saves on clutter and things like that. However, I play games on all my systems so for me it just doesn't tick the box.

I hope it didn't come across as having a go

I did love my retro collection, I still miss some of them. I wish there was a legal way to have access to an entire library of a consoles games from those eras today (aside from keeping them physically). I know licencing and such gets in the way, but it would be wonderful to play games from the old days on the Vita.

GameRoom on XBLA was a great idea in theory, but badly executed.
