Did you buy the Ratchet & Clank Q-Force game? If so they sent out Motorstorm RC to people as way of an apology for the delay.

That was the reason given in the e-mail, but I didn't buy the game. I was in the Beta, though, so I guess they have an automated system which flagged me as eligible.

Persona 4: Golden is the weekly special at Play-Asia. ~£20 with Free Shipping.

An essential purchase!

Sold.

I fucking hate you.

I'd convinced myself I would hate it and wouldn't buy it. This was yesterday evening, after trying to play MGS again and realising I really hated it. I'd deliberated for weeks over P4G, but convinced myself that it really wasn't for me.

Anybody played SFxT? I'm shit at it, any tips. I'm a Tekken player not a SF player so finding it quite an adjustment.

In other news. Another new game:

http://www.thesixtha...zero-announced/

Sounds very similar to P4G. Though I hear that ain't a bad thing :)

Curiosity piqued, but I'll wait for more details. P4 (and P3) work because they do a lot of things right in a lot of places, and having a few similarities won't necessarily make it an insta-buy. Even so, it's another one to watch perhaps :)

I await your impressions with genuine interest. I figure this totally isn't for me. For this 45-year-old bloke, obsessing over the relationship travails of a load of Jap teens has (less than) zero interest - it almost seems slightly dubious in that particular salaryman-subway-letchy way. I'm also not much of a JRPG fan.

And yet, and yet, the universal love for this, the hype in this very thread, and my drive to grab a good bargain means I am still, despite every instinct I have, teetering on the very edge.

You, yes you, catinthehat might just push me over.

Tick tock...

This was me. Trust me, this game is something just simply special.

I broke 17 Million on tom. Until Sunday I hadn't got anywhere close to 5 million. Think 2 may have been my best but lately im on fire. So close to being top of this weeks leaderboard too. Still my vita is mainly a P4G machine.

I really don't know whether I will love this or not, but the universal praise has won me over (and the £20 price point). It's been a long time since I played a JRPG, although I did play through FFVII in Japanese back in the day so once upon a time I liked them...although I think Skies of Arcadia on the DC was the last time I put any serious time into one. But I'm in love with my new Vita, and everyone seems to be in love with this game so here's hoping. I think another big reason for me not playing a JRPG for years is how much time I'd need to devote on the TV, whereas having it in my hands will hopefully make a difference :) Time will tell....

For me; EXACTLY this. I play the Vita more than my PS3, 360, and iPad games combined, but I still worry I won't find the time to play P4G

It hasn't arrived yet.

Great, now I'm anxiously awaiting a game I had ZERO interest in. Just great.

I've not even watched any videos of the actual gameplay or anything. The only things I've seen clips of are the standing around talking sections.

If anything is released on both PS3 and Vita, then it should have both Cross-Buy and Cross-Save as the norm, like you say. Cross-Save at the very least.

What has it so far?

Motorstorm RC

MLB 13 The Show

Sly 4

Hustle Kings?

Sound Shapes

Retro City Rampage

Anything else?

That this-isn't-Smash-Brothers did, I think.

To be honest, I'd be happy with just a bundle like Oddworld Stranger's Wrath. Asking for an extra few quid is cheeky but I'd live with it.

I'd understand them not doing Cross-Save for a port of an older game or HD version. It's a fair bit of work to rejig the existing save game stuff to work with cross-save if not designed for it...never mind patching up the old game if it's a port. It sounds like people are having a bit of a nightmare using it on All-stars because you have to sign-in to stuff just so. Coding that up can't be fun. But things made from now on should use it.

Atelier Torori Plus is out on US and UK PSN this week released with no publicity and looking like a digital only release. I love the Atelier series so I'll definitely be picking it up. Hopefully it will be a better port than the half assed Mana Khemia port Gust released on the PSP

It's looking like a habit for niche RPGs. I can't say I'm surprised or even offended if I'm honest, it's never going to sell well at retail whereas the ps3 version has a bit more hope

I might play it on ps3 when I finish Rorona, would really depend on pricing.

I take it Phantasy Star Online for the Vita hasn't got a EU release date yet ? Looking around and I can't find anything.....

Nope. Not even a US release date (assuming it would be a little before). Sega being a bit tight lipped about it, there's bloody Twitter campaigns to get them to just state a date!

I imagine it's not on their top list of priorities, 500 people moaing over a social network. I personally don't think there's anything dubious about it, I mean, it's already had a bloody Japanese release. Add to that the recent upturn in Vita's fortunes (with the PS4 integration/sales increases, etc)...Summer, I reckon.

I had been looking around online over the past few days for any new PSO2 news but very little's been said for a while. If this keeps up I'll have to pin my multiplayer monster-bashing hopes on Soul Sacrifice. ;)
